Marten Nenkete Kapewasha (born 19 September 1949) is a Namibian diplomat and politician. A member of the SWAPO Central Committee since 1991, Kapewasha was appointed Namibia's High Commissioner to India in September 2005 following a six-year stint in the same position in Russia.
Born in Oshinyadhila, Oshana Region, Kapewasha graduated from Ongwediva Training College in 1970. He earned his Senior Certificate in Economics, Geography and History via correspondence in 1981. In 2003, he earned a diploma in Security, Defence and Law Enforcement at the Mikhail Lomonosov Academy in Moscow.
Kapewasha was a SWAPO youth activist until his arrest alongside Jerry Ekandjo and Jacob Nghidinwa in 1973. He then served eight years on Robben Island, being released in 1981. He then began teaching at an independent school in Gibeon in the Hardap region. Following release, he rejoined political activism with the SWAPO Youth League and was elected Deputy Secretary of the organization in 1989.
Kapewasha won a seat in the 1992 Regional Council elections in Wanaheda, which led to his representation of Khomas region in the National Council. From 1994 to 1996, he served as Namibia's Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Minister of Lands, Resettlement and Rehabilitation.

Hidipo Livius Hamutenya was a Namibian politician. A long time leading member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Hamutenya was a member of the Cabinet of Namibia from independence in 1990 to 2004. He was defeated in a bid for the party's presidential nomination in 2004 and left SWAPO to form an opposition group, the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP), in 2007. He was elected to the National Assembly of Namibia with RDP in the 2009 general election. He was forced to step down as RDP President on 28 February 2015 and rejoined SWAPO on 28 August 2015.
Asser Kuveri Kapere is a Namibian politician. He is a member of SWAPO and was the Chairman of the National Council of Namibia from December 2004 to December 2015.
Libertina Inaviposa Amathila is a Namibian physician and politician. She was the Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia from 2005 to 2010.
Jerry Lukiiko Ekandjo is a Namibian politician, former anti-apartheid activist and political prisoner. He is one of the founding members of the SWAPO Youth League and has been one of the most active internal leading members of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) during the liberation struggle. He spent eight years in prison on Robben Island after being charged for inciting violence in 1973. Ekandjo has been a member of the Cabinet of Namibia from independence in 1990 until 2018, serving the SWAPO government in various ministerial positions. His last appointment was Minister of Youth and Sport since 2012, from which he was recalled in early 2018. Previously he was Deputy Minister of Local Government and Housing from 1990 to 1995, Minister of Home Affairs from 1995 to 2005, Minister of Lands and Resettlement from 2005 to 2008, and Minister of Regional and Local Government, Housing and Rural Development from 2008 to 2012.
Petrus Iilonga was a Namibian politician as well as a trade union leader and political prisoner in Robben Island. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Iilonga served as Deputy Minister in various Ministries and was a member of the party's Central Committee.
Major General Charles Dickson Ndaxu Phillip Namoloh is a Namibian diplomat, politician and military figure who served in the cabinet of Namibia as Minister of Safety and Security from March 2015 to March 2020. Namoloh has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 2005; having served as Minister of Defense from 2005 to 2012 and Minister of Regional and Local Government, Housing and Rural Development from 2012 to 2015.
Erkki Nghimtina is a Namibian politician and former military officer in the Namibia Defence Force (NDF). A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Nghimtina served as member of the National Assembly of Namibia from 1995 to 2020. He served in various cabinet roles from 2005 to 2020.
Loide Lucky Shoopala Kasingo is a Namibian politician and prominent trade unionist. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Kasingo has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 1996 and was a deputy minister from 1996 to 2005. She has served as Deputy Speaker of Parliament since 2010.
Lempy Lucas, also: Lukas, is a Namibian politician. A member of the National Assembly from 2000 until 2015, Lucas is a member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO). She has held a number of Deputy Minister positions in Namibia's government, she currently is Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry. She had previously been a SWAPO Party Youth League activist.
John Mutorwa is a Namibian politician and current minister of agriculture. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Mutorwa has served in the National Assembly of Namibia as well as the cabinet since 1992.
Chief Samuel Ankama was a Namibian politician, traditional leader, and educator. A member of SWAPO, Ankama was a member of the National Assembly of Namibia from 2005 till 2021.
Pohamba Penomwenyo Shifeta is a Namibian politician who has served as Minister of Environment and Tourism in the Cabinet of Namibia since his appointment by president Hage Geingob in March 2015.
Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is a Namibian politician who is the Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia since March 2015. She has also been serving as Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation since December 2012. From March 2010 to December 2012, she was Minister of the Environment and Tourism. Nandi-Ndaitwah is a member of SWAPO, Namibia's ruling party, and a long-time member of the National Assembly of Namibia. In 2017, Nandi-Ndaitwah was elected vice-president of the Swapo Party at the party's 6th Congress. She is the first woman to serve in that position.
Elia George Kaiyamo is a Namibian politician. A member of SWAPO, Kaiyamo was an internal organizer and teacher for SWAPO prior to independence. He served in the Cabinet of Namibia as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration from 2010 to 2015. On 2 September 2016, President Hage Geingob appointed Kaiyamo as Ambassador-designate to the People's Republic of China.
Stefanus "Steve" Orateng Mogotsi is a Namibian politician and former featherweight boxer.
Erastus Amutenya Uutoni is a Namibian politician who has served in the Cabinet of Namibia since March 2010. He was appointed the Minister of Urban and Rural Development in March 2020 in President Hage Geingob's second-term cabinet.

Paulus Kapia is a Namibian politician. A member of SWAPO, Kapia was first elected to the National Assembly of Namibia in 2005. He was appointed to the politburo of SWAPO and served for a short time as Deputy Minister of Works, Transport and Communication but was forced to resign in August 2005 after being implicated in a corruption case. After SWAPO suspended all his party activities in the wake of the scandal, Kapia also lost his seats in the politburo and as member of parliament. He was, however, reinstated "on humanitarian grounds" into his SWAPO Party Youth League job in 2016.

Henock Sheya ya Kasita was a Namibian politician who served as Deputy Minister of Lands and Resettlement from 2008 to 2010. He previously was Deputy Minister of Mines and Energy from 2003 to 2008, SWAPO Chief Whip in the National Council from 1994 to 2003. Ya Kasita was a Member of the National Council for Oshana Region starting 1993 to the year 2010, and a founding Councilor for Okaku Constituency in 1993 until 2010. He also served as Deputy Chairperson for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) National Group from 1996 to 2000, and became its Chairperson from 2000 to 2004.
