Martha Chizuma is Malawi's Anti-Corruption Bureau Director. Martha Chizuma was appointed director of the anti-corruption bureau on 29 April 2021 after serving as Malawi's first woman Ombudsman since 2015. [1] Prior to that,she served as the Senior Resident Magistrate in the courts of Malawi.
Martha Chizuma holds a Masters of Laws in International Economic Law from the University of East London and Bachelor of Laws with Honors (LLB) from University of Malawi,Chancellor College.
In January 2022,a phone call recording between Chizuma and an unidentified man was leaked. [2] In the phone call,she alleged that judges and magistrates were part of a corruption syndicate. She was accused of being unprofessional for the alleged discussion. [3]
Also in January 2022,members of Malawi's diplomatic missions faulted Martha Chizuma for recruiting a United Kingdom agency to do investigations on behalf of the anti-corruption bureau. [4]
On 6 December 2022,Chizuma was arrested in connection to a leaked audio clip in which she spoke with another person about the fight against corruption in the country. [5] She was released on bail the same day of her arrest. [6]

Shafie S. Phiri is a Malawian artist better known by his stage name Driemo. He started his music career in early 2017 in Nkhotakota district. At the time,his stage name was Smart P,and he changed it into Driemo in 2020. In 2021,he released "Duma",which garnered him a lot of commercial success. The Great Angels Choir is a CCAP gospel musical group from Lilongwe,Malawi. In 2016,the choir shared a stage with American singer,Don Moen. In 2023,it was rumoured that the choir was splitting to which it publicly denied. In September 2023,the choir collaborated with South Africa's Rebecca Malope in performance at the Blessings Gospel Concert at BICC in Lilongwe and other artists. In 2017,the choir hired Sipho Makhabane to spice their website.

Alleluya Band is an oldest Malawian music group founded by Paul Banda his brother Lucius Banda from Balaka. The band started and rose to fame in 1970s. The band's current leader is Coss Chiwalo. In 2021,the group released their 13th album in May. In 2018 and 2019,the band visited Rome and met with Pope Francis for Panama for World Youth Day. In 2020,after the band embarked from Italy,they were quarantined due to Covid-19. The band has also shared stage with different artists such as Skeffa Chimoto and Dan Lufani.
