Martin "Rick" Atkinson III is an American politician. He is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates from the 11th district. [1]
The 1990 United States House of Representatives elections was an election for the United States House of Representatives on November 6,1990,to elect members to serve in the 102nd United States Congress. They occurred in the middle of President George H. W. Bush's term. As in most midterm elections,the president's Republican Party lost seats to the Democratic Party,slightly increasing the Democratic majority in the chamber. It was a rare instance,however,in which both major parties lost votes to third parties such as the Libertarian Party as well as independent candidates.

Thompson resigned from the House of Delegates in June 2013 after being appointed by Tomblin to serve as West Virginia Secretary of Veterans Assistance. Resigned as Assistant Secretary of Veteran Affairs to Run for Wayne County Sheriff. Currently serving as Sherriff of Wayne County.
Stephen Holliday Martin is an American politician of the Republican Party. He was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 1988–1994 and the Senate of Virginia from 1994–2016.
The Libertarian Party of Virginia (LPVA) is the Virginia affiliate of the Libertarian Party. The party was originally founded in 1974 and was dissolved by the State Central Committee on September 11,2022. The 2017 Virginia Attorney General election was held on November 7,2017. The incumbent attorney general,Democrat Mark Herring,was expected to run for governor,but announced he would run for re-election instead. As only Herring and Republican John Adams qualified for their respective party primaries,the two automatically became their parties' nominees. In the general election,Herring defeated Adams to win a second term as Attorney General of Virginia.

Lindsay Almond appointed Gray to serve as Attorney General of Virginia after the resignation of Attorney General Albertis Harrison to run for Governor of Virginia during the Massive Resistance crisis in Virginia. Gray returned to private practice at Williams Mullen after Robert Young Button took office. Gray later served in the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate as he continued his law practice.

The seat became vacant after incumbent Democrat Donald McEachin died on November 28,2022,of colorectal cancer. State Senator Jennifer McClellan was declared the victor shortly after the polls closed,winning in a landslide against her Republican opponent.
