Born in Sydney, Australia, Lo's parents are Vietnamese immigrants. [2]
Born in Australia, he was called up to represent Vietnam at youth level. He made his debut in an unofficial match against Hong Kong club Kitchee SC. [3] He also took part in a training camp prior to the 2021 SEA Games however was ultimately not selected in the final squad. [4]

The V.League 1, also called Night Wolf V.League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF).
