Martin Meichelbeck (born 21 November 1976) is a German former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. [1] [2]
Meichelbeck was born in Bamberg (Franconia). His first football club was FC Baunach. He played one season in the youth team of 1. FC Nürnberg. The next clubs were 1. FC Bamberg and SpVgg Jahn Forchheim.
Meichelbeck started his professional career at 2. Bundesliga club SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 1998. At this point, he decided to start a professional football career. He was still studying medicine till that time. Meichelbeck played for Greuther Fürth until 2000.
In 2000, Meichelbeck moved to VfL Bochum. Meichelbeck is the player who has played the most matches for VfL Bochum in the 2007–08 squad. Highlights of this period are his one UEFA Cup match with VfL Bochum against Standard Liège and one match with the German Team 2006. He also relegated and promoted twice with his club. In his professional career, Meichelbeck has gotten only one red card.
In 2008 Meichelbeck return to SpVgg Greuther Fürth for two seasons.
Meichelbeck studied Social Behaviour Science at the FernUniversität Hagen. He had ten years of piano lessons and is still a devoted piano player in his free time. [3]

Armin Veh is a German football manager and former player who last managed Eintracht Frankfurt. He won the German championship with Bundesliga team VfB Stuttgart in 2007. Veh and his team also had the chance to win "the double" by winning the DFB-Pokal on 26 May 2007 in Berlin, but lost 3–2 in overtime against 1. FC Nürnberg. From 11 December 2017 to 8 December 2019, Veh was the sports director of 1. FC Köln. During his playing career, he played as a midfielder.
The 2003–04 DFB-Pokal was the 61st season of the annual German football cup competition. 64 teams competed in the tournament of six rounds which began on 29 August 2003 and ended on 29 May 2004. In the final Werder Bremen defeated second-tier Alemannia Aachen, who knocked out defending champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals, 3–2, thereby becoming the fifth team in German football to win the double. It was Bremen's fifth win in the cup.
