Mary Ann Carson is a former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives.

The Connecticut House of Representatives is the lower house in the Connecticut General Assembly, the state legislature of the US state of Connecticut. The house is composed of 151 members representing an equal number of districts, with each constituency containing nearly 22,600 residents. Representatives are elected to two-year terms with no term limits. The House convenes within the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford.

Carson and her husband Douglas have two daughters, Denise Cocozza and Natalie Venskus. She has three grandchildren, Trevor Cocozza, Kevin Cocozza and Luke Venskus. She resides in New Fairfield, Connecticut. [1]

Carson was first elected to the House of Representatives in a special election in 1999. She was re-elected in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Carson is a Republican. [2]
