Mary in the Junkyard (stylized in all lowercase) is a British band from London. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Clari Freeman-Taylor, viola player Saya Barbaglia and drummer David Addison. [1] The band are signed with All My Friends (AMF) Records [2]
The band began while all three members were teenagers. [3] The group formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. [4] In May 2024, the band released their debut EP titled This Old House. [5] [6] Alongside the announcement of their EP, the band released the single "Marble Arch". [7] [8]
In November 2024, the band released a new song titled "This Is My California", [9] [10] and in December 2024 the band released the song "Bear Walk". [11] In 2025, the band was featured on the song "Swamp Dream #3" by Everything Is Recorded, [12] and supported Wet Leg on their "Moisturizer" tour. [13]
