The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose full members are historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the Southeastern and the Mid-Atlantic United States. It participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I, and in football, in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name.
The Southland Conference, abbreviated as SLC, is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the South Central United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I for all sports; for football, it participates in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity". It was established as Delaware Conference Academy. It has also been known as Princess Anne Academy and other names during its evolution.
The NCAA Bowling Championship is a sanctioned women's championship in college athletics. Unlike many NCAA sports, only one National Collegiate championship is held each season with teams from Division I, Division II, and Division III competing together. Seventeen teams, nine of them automatic qualifiers and the other eight being at-large selections, are chosen by the NCAA Bowling Committee to compete in the championship. The championship was first held in April 2004.

The Northeast Conference baseball tournament is the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference (NEC). In the current format, established in 2023 after the NEC absorbed the former baseball league of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), the top six regular-season finishers among teams eligible for postseason competition advance to the double-elimination tournament. The winner of the tournament, if eligible to participate, receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference baseball tournament was the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. In its final edition in 2022, all four MEAC baseball teams participated in the double elimination tournament at Marty L. Miller Field in Norfolk, Virginia. The winner of the tournament received an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. The automatic bid was granted beginning in 1994.
The 2021–22 Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks men's basketball team represented the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hawks, led by second-year head coach Jason Crafton, played their home games at the Hytche Athletic Center in Princess Anne, Maryland as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. They finished the season 11–16, 6–8 in MEAC play to finish in a tie for sixth place. As the No. 6 seed in the MEAC tournament, they lost in the quarterfinals to North Carolina Central. The Hawks received an invite to the 2022 The Basketball Classic postseason tournament, formerly known as the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, where they lost in the first round at Coastal Carolina.
The 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season was a college baseball season in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level. It began on February 18, 2022, with play progressing through the regular season, various conference tournaments and championship series, and concluding with the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2022 Men's College World Series. The Men's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, ended on June 26, 2022.

It was a four-team double elimination tournament. The winner, Coppin State, claimed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
The 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 17, 2023. The regular season was followed by many conference tournaments and championship series, and the season concluded with the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2023 Men's College World Series. The Men's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, ended on June 26, 2023, with LSU winning the title.
