Master Azad Singh is a former mayor of North Delhi and a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] He has been actively participating in the Teachers politics since 1998 and has also contested the elections for the post of President of Government School Teachers Association, Delhi (GSTA). [2] He under the guidance of his elder brother Sahib Singh Verma laid down the foundation of Loktantrik Adhyapak Manch which is currently the ruling panel in Teachers Union. He has been th BJP MLA candidate from Mundka for consecutive 3 terms but is yet to be elected to Delhi Legislative Assembly.

Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was an Indian politician. In the Lok Sabha, represented the Vaishali constituency of Bihar and was the national vice president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal political party. He resigned from RJD party in September, 2020 and in his final days wrote an emotional letter to Lalu Prasad Yadav mentioning the humiliation meted out to him in his last days in the RJD and then few days later he died in AIIMS Delhi. Professor Dinesh Singh, chancellor K.R. Mangalam University is an Indian professor of mathematics. He served as the 21st Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, is a distinguished fellow of Hackspace at Imperial College London, and has been an adjunct professor of Mathematics at the University of Houston. For his services to the nation he was conferred with the Padma Shri which is the fourth highest civilian award awarded by the Republic of India.

Government School Teachers Association, Delhi (GSTA) is a teachers' union recognized by the Delhi Government, India, which represents teachers serving under the Delhi Government. The current elected General Secretary of GSTA is Ajay Veer Yadav. Master Azad Singh, ex-Mayor, North Delhi MCD contested in these elections. Teacher groups actively contributing in the functioning of GSTA include Adhyapak Shakti Manch.

Ajay Veer Yadav is the General Secretary of Government Schools Teachers Association of India. Currently representing the teachers serving under the Government of Delhi and Delhi Directorate of Education he has been active in teacher politics since 1995.

Padma Shri Piyong Temjen Jamir was a noted Hindi scholar and littérateur from Longsa village under Mokokchung district in Nagaland state of India. He was conferred the Padma Sri honour by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, in 2018 for the promotion of Hindi language and social work.
