Masuma Hasan

Masuma Hasan is a Pakistani diplomat, chairperson of Pakistan Institute of International Affairs, [1] [2] who served secretary to the government of Pakistan [3] and later ambassador of Pakistan to International Atomic Energy Agency.

In 2014, she was named "goodwill envoy" for her contribution to the initiatives of World NGO Day of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. [4]

Career

Masuma was born in Pakistan. Before she was appointed ambassador, she started her career as faculty member and later director at National Institute of Management. During her career, she also served ambassador of Pakistan to Austria, Slovenia, and to Slovakia, and previously a member of a women's rights organization Aurat Foundation. She was later or earlier appointed as a representative of Pakistan at Sustainable Development Policy Institute. As a permanent representative of Pakistan, she served at United Nations office stationed at Vienna where she subsequently served chairperson of the Group of 77. Before or after serving at UN in Vienna, she was appointed to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization as a representative. [5] [6]

Dr. Paulette A. Bethel is a Bahamian diplomat from the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. She started her professional career in 1980 in the international field as Assistant Social Affairs Officer in the Centre for Social Development and Humanitarian Affairs (CSDHA) in Vienna, Austria. She then joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Bahamas) and served in diplomatic posts for long years for her country. She was a Special Adviser to the Office of the President of the Seventieth session of the United Nations General Assembly. She was previously the Permanent Representative of the Bahamas to the United Nations from 4 March 2003 to 31 March 2013. She was the first female Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United Nations. She began to serve in the office from the mid of October 2020 while working closely with Jehan Ara, the president of P@SHA.

Zohra Yusuf is an advertising professional, an activist and a journalist who is lauded for her work in women's rights, human rights and media. She is the former Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).

Sadaffe Abid is a social entrepreneur from Karachi, Pakistan and the former COO and CEO of Kashf Foundation. She is the founder of tech-organization CIRCLE, and its current CEO. She is also a Vice Chairperson of Pakistan Microfinance Network.
