Matilde Gioli (born Matilde Lojacono; 2 September 1989) is an Italian television and film actress.

Life and career

Born in Milan to a father from Puglia and a mother from Tuscany, from whom she decided to take the surname for her artistic career, Matilde Gioli graduated in Philosophy from the University of Milan. [1] With no previous acting experiences, she became known to the public for her role of Serena Ossola in Paolo Virzì's Human Capital , and for her performance she won the Guglielmo Biraghi Award at the 69th Silver Ribbon Awards. [2] She also won the Alida Valli Award during the Bari International Film Festival and was nominated for the Ciak d'oro for Best Supporting Actress.
