Mats Wallberg

Mats Wallberg (born February 21, 1949, in Gunnarskog) is a former ice speed skater from Sweden, who represented his native country in two consecutive Winter Olympics, starting in 1972 in Sapporo, Japan. [1]

Johan Mikael Wallberg is a former freestyle swimmer from Sweden. He competed twice at the Summer Olympics for his native country, in 1996 and 2000, both in the Men's 4 × 100 m freestyle relay. After his active career he became coach for Swedish swimmer Therese Alshammar. During the autumn of 2016, he became coach for Sarah Sjöström.

Rasmus Bele Åke Wranå is a Swedish curler from Karlstad. He currently plays second for the Sweden national team, skipped by Niklas Edin. With his teammates Edin, Oskar Eriksson, and Christoffer Sundgren, Wranå became part of the first and only team in history to win four consecutive gold medals at the World Men's Curling Championship. In 2017, Wranå and these same teammates also became the first non-Canadian men's curling team to win three Grand Slam tournaments and the Pinty's Cup. The men's moguls competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics were held on 3 February (qualification) and 5 February (final), at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Walter Wallberg of Sweden won the event. Mikaël Kingsbury of Canada became the silver medalist, and Ikuma Horishima from Japan took the bronze. For Wallberg and Horishima this is the first Olympic medal.
