Matt Compton (born 29 December 1983 in Chester, England) is an English professional ice hockey player, currently playing for the Flintshire Freeze in the ENHL. Compton began playing at a higher standard in 2000, when he kept goal for the Deeside Avalanche at U-19 level, making 11 appearances in his first year and maintaining a save percentage of over 87%.
He would move on to sign for the Flintshire Freeze, a Welsh team playing in the ENHL. Compton would remain with Flintshire for the next four seasons, and featured regularly throughout each term. During his first spell with Flintshire, his save percentage was never allowed to drop below 85%, and one season was as high as 91%.
Compton's talent as a goaltender led to his move North for the 2005/06 season, signing with the Blackburn Hawks. Compton was the Hawks' starting goaltender, and played 40 games with a goals against average of 2.7 goals per game. Compton would only stay one season in Blackburn before being picked up by the EIHL team, the Manchester Phoenix. Whilst in Manchester, Compton had limited opportunities and was used mainly as a backup to first choice goaltender Jason Wolfe.
The lack of any chances to prove himself led Compton to part with Manchester during the summer of 2007. He chose to return to the team where he had made his name, signing again for the Flintshire Freeze. Compton has again been playing for the Freeze but has shared the goaltending duties with Dave Clancy and Phil Crosby. Compton would continue his association with the Freeze during the 2008/09 season, making 12 appearances in league and cup competition.

Rask was drafted 21st overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Rask won the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goaltender during the 2013–14 season. In 2011, Rask won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins. He is the older brother of Joonas Rask, who plays professionally as a forward with HIFK in the Finnish Liiga.
Ryan Dean Miller is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Miller was drafted 138th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. In 2010, he won the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender. On February 17, 2019, Miller became the winningest American-born goalie in NHL history.

Scott A. Fankhouser is an American retired ice hockey goaltender. He played 23 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Atlanta Thrashers between 1999 and 2001. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1999 to 2009, was spent in various minor leagues and with teams in Europe. After retiring from playing he served as an Assistant Coach for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, and coached the Evansville Thunderbolts of the North American 3 Hockey League for a single season. He is currently the assistant manager of Swonder Ice Arena in Evansville Indiana.
Matthew Rich is a Scottish professional ice hockey player, currently plays for Paisley Pirates in the Scottish National League. In 2005 he began his professional career, playing for the Edinburgh Capitals. Prior to this, Rich had still been playing at a high standard, having iced for the Scotland national team at U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 levels. He had also been playing for local teams in Scotland, such as the Paisley Pirates.

Dave Clancy He is an English ice hockey goaltender, currently playing for the Flintshire Freeze in the ENL. Clancy began his career playing at deeside junior ice hockey club. Then worked his way up to play some games for the senior team. He then left the club to go and play for the Altrincham Tigers at Under-19 level. He backstopped the Tigers to a national tournament win in Cardiff, claiming the 'Goalie of the Tournament' award along the way. Clancy was also selected for the Team G.B. U-20 squad the same year, but was unavailable to travel with the squad.
