Corporate titles or business titles are given to corporate officers to show what duties and responsibilities they have in the organization. Such titles are used by publicly and privately held for-profit corporations, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, partnerships, and sole proprietorships that also confer corporate titles.
A chief executive officer (CEO) is the highest officer charged with the management of an organization, especially a company or nonprofit institution. That officer is also referred to as an "executive officer" or just "chief executive" (CE), or "managing director" (MD) in the UK.
A chief operating officer (COO) is an executive in charge of the daily operations of an organization. COOs are usually second-in-command immediately after the CEO, and reports directly to them and acts on their behalf in their absence.

Harry Curtis Stonecipher is an American business executive who was president and chief executive officer of American aerospace companies: Sundstrand, McDonnell Douglas, and The Boeing Company. Stonecipher was widely credited with the seeming resurgence of Boeing after government procurement scandals. However, his tenure also included major decisions to change Boeing's design and sourcing process for the new 787 airliner. These decisions later proved to be organizationally and financially disastrous for the company. Stonecipher was forced to resign from Boeing following the disclosure of an affair with a subordinate, in violation of the Boeing Code of Conduct.

Michael Robert Quinlan is a graduate, and former chairman of the board of trustees, of Loyola University Chicago, where he was initiated into the Alpha Delta Gamma National Fraternity. Quinlan served as a director of McDonald's Corporation, from 1979 until his retirement in 2002. He was the chairman of the board of directors of McDonald's from March 1990 to May 1999 and chief executive officer from March 1987 through July 1998. Quinlan became President and COO in 1982. Quinlan started with McDonald's in 1963 in the mailroom and worked his way up to senior management. Quinlan got the job through his roommate John Martino, the son of June Martino McDonald's secretary.
Orin C. Smith was an American businessman who was president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Starbucks Corporation from 2000 to 2005. He joined Starbucks as vice president and chief financial officer in 1990, becoming president and chief operating officer in 1994, and a director of Starbucks in 1996. He was preceded by Howard Shultz and succeeded by Jim Donald who was himself succeeded by Shultz.
CareerBuilder is an American employment website founded in 1995 that operates in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. In 2008, it had the largest market share among online employment websites in the United States. CareerBuilder provides talent management software and other recruitment related services. The company is majority-owned by Apollo Global Management.
Raju Narisetti is a journalist and former newspaper editor who has been global publishing director at McKinsey & Company since 2020. From July 2018 to December 2019, he was a professor of professional practice and director of the Knight-Bagehot Fellowship Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. In October 2017, Narisetti was appointed to the board of trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation. He is one of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum.
Randall Lynn Stephenson is a retired American telecommunications executive. He served as chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of AT&T Inc. from May 9, 2007 until June 30, 2020 and as executive chairman of AT&T Inc. from July 1 until December 31, 2020. He served as National President of the Boy Scouts of America from 2016 to 2018. In April 2020, Stephenson announced he would step down as CEO of AT&T effective July 1, 2020, replaced by John Stankey. In November 2020, Stephenson announced he would step down as executive chairman of AT&T effective January 2021, replaced by William Kennard.
Solomon Dennis "Sol" Trujillo is an American businessman, global media-communications and technology executive. He has served as the CEO of Telstra, US West, and Orange S.A., and has held executive positions in United States Federal government and state governments.

Donald Thompson is an American engineer and business executive who was the president and chief executive of McDonald's Corporation from 2012 until 2015. He announced on January 28, 2015, that he would retire from the company and leave his position on March 1, 2015, and was succeeded by Steve Easterbrook, the senior executive vice president and chief brand officer. He is currently the CEO of Cleveland Avenue, an investment group and accelerator that focuses on building new food, beverage, and restaurant concepts, which he founded in 2015. Cleveland Avenue has invested in Beyond Meat and Taste 222, among other food industry companies, and Thompson has served as a member of the board of directors at Beyond Meat since October 2015.
Rosalind "Roz" G. Brewer is an American businesswoman and former CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance, before stepping down in September 2023. Brewer is the first woman to become CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance, group president and COO of Starbucks, and CEO of Sam's Club. She currently serves as a member of the President's Export Council.
Tom Anselmi is a Canadian sports executive. He is currently employed by the OEG serving as the President of Business Operations and Chief Operating Officer. He had previously served as a Business Manager with the Ottawa Senators and as the President and Chief operating officer for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment from 2011 to 2013. Anselmi is an alumnus of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and University of Saskatchewan.
Kevin Fulbright Warren is an American attorney and sports executive. He is the team president and chief executive officer (CEO) for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously the commissioner of the Big Ten Conference from 2020 to 2023, overseeing negotiations for expansion of the conference.
Thom Brodeur is an American businessman, brand builder and philanthropist. Brodeur is the founder and chief executive officer of Brodeur Beauty – a company that brings disruptive beauty brands to market and that owns the internationally renowned Reina Belleza Universo [Queen Beauty Universe] beauty competition. Recently rebranded Queen Beauty, the name has been licensed to New York-based digital media and production company Elizabeth Miles who will soon launch a streaming TV network dedicated to beauty, fashion and pageant content called The Queen Beauty Network. Brodeur Beauty also operates Brodeur Beauties - a coaching business that specializes in strategy, personal branding, styling and social media strategy for pageant queens, models and beauty influencers from all over the world.
