Strait Out of the Box is the first box set album by American country music artist George Strait. It contains four albums' worth of music, dating from 1976 to 1995. It mainly consists of Strait's singles, except for a select few that he decided to exclude. They were replaced by his choice of album cuts and several studio outtakes. It also contains his three singles recorded in the 1970s for indie label D Records, one of which, "I Just Can't Go on Dying Like This", was re-recorded for Strait's 2013 album Love Is Everything.

Greatest Hits is a 1997 compilation album from American country music artist Pam Tillis. The album reached #6 on the Billboard country albums charts. It chronicles her greatest hits from her first four albums for Arista Nashville. The tracks "Land of the Living" and "All the Good Ones Are Gone" are new to this compilation. Both were released as singles, reaching Top Five on the Hot Country Songs charts in 1997. The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of over 1,000,000 copies in the U.S. This was the last of her albums to receive certification in sales. "Land of the Living" would also be Pam's last top 10 appearance in the Country Singles Charts.

The former was originally recorded by Wariner in 1978, and was a number 63-peaking single for him on the country charts that year.
I'm Just a Girl is the fourth studio album by American country music singer Deana Carter. First were the back-to-back number 1 hits "Come from the Heart" and "Burnin' Old Memories", followed by the number 10 "Where've You Been" and number 2 "She Came from Fort Worth". "Where've You Been" also charted on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts, peaking at number 25 there. This song also earned her the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

It was released in North America on August 4, 2009 and in Australia on January 11, 2010 via Emblem Music Group, with Warner Bros. Records Nashville serving as distributor. The album debuted at position number 3 on US Billboard 200, and number 2 on Billboard Country Albums. The album spawned two singles in "Wild at Heart" and "How Far Do You Wanna Go?". The album was re-released in March 2010 to include "The World Is Ours Tonight," which was released in March 2010 as the album's third single. This is their only studio album with Cheyenne Kimball.
