Matt Prusak is an American business executive. He is president and CEO of American Bitcoin. [2]

Education

Prusak graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2015. [3] He later studied as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University. He received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2020. [4]

Career

He began his career at Bain & Company as an associate consultant. [3] He served as the CEO of Ionic Digital, a cryptocurrency mining company spun off from defunct crypto lender Celsius Network, from January 2024 until his resignation in August 2024. [5] He was subsequently named president and CEO of American Bitcoin. The company was launched as a subsidiary of Hut 8 in partnership with Eric Trump, who serves as chief creative officer, and Donald Trump Jr. Prusak served previously as the chief commercial officer of Hut 8.
