Corporate titles or business titles are given to corporate officers to show what duties and responsibilities they have in the organization. Such titles are used by publicly and privately held for-profit corporations, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, partnerships, and sole proprietorships that also confer corporate titles.
A chief operating officer (COO) is an executive in charge of the daily operations of an organization, i.e., personnel, resources, and logistics. COOs are usually second-in-command immediately after the CEO, and reports directly to them and acts on their behalf in their absence.

Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC) is an annual weekend-long educational conference put on by the students of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration for leaders of the hospitality industry. Composed of educational seminars, leisure activities, and food and beverage events, the program is currently in its 97th year, predating the School of Hotel Administration and making HEC one of the oldest organizations at Cornell University. He is also the former chairman of Citi Holdings. He has served as chairman of the boards of Citadel, Power Holdings, and iQor; as lead independent director of Pluralsight; and has served on the boards of Extra Space Storage, Staples Inc., Ryerson, Inc., TJX Companies, and Utah Capital Investment Corp. From 2000 to 2007, Crittenden was executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of American Express, and from March 2007 to March 2009, he was the chief financial officer of Citigroup.

He previously practiced law in Washington, D.C., with Latham and Watkins, specializing in mergers and acquisitions litigation. He joined Marriott in 1996 where he served in increasingly senior management roles before being promoted to chief executive.
Matthew 'Matt' Maddox is an American business executive and entrepreneur. He is the former CEO of Wynn Resorts, Ltd., the American publicly traded developer and operator of higher-end hotels and casinos. In November 2021, he announced his intention to step down as CEO of Wynn Resorts effective January 31, 2022.
