Matthew (Matt) Nuccio (born March 20, 1974, in Merrick, New York) is a toy designer co-credited with designing Creepy Crawlers, [1] Tickle Me Elmo, Nintendo Power Glove, P.O.G's, Laser Challenge and Barbie Sparkle Kingdom. [2] [3] Products he designed have been embraced by American society, and been nominated for, or won, many of the toys industry's most important awards, such as the TOTY (Toy of The Year), the TAGie (Toy and Game award) Games 100, Mensa Select, Origin, and Family Fun award. Nuccio, the son of Mark and Linda Nuccio, was instrumental in helping create an international agency for toy inventing, design and manufacturing, with teams in New York, Hong Kong and Qingdao China. By the end of 2009, the company had grown from being a product design firm into a complete design, consulting and production resource for companies such as Mattel, Spin Master, Hasbro and Goliath. Many of the products he helped develop have since been nominated for, or won, many of the toys industry's top awards, such as TOTY (Toy of The Year), TAGIE (Toy and Games Innovators), Games 100, Origin, and Family Fun among others. . Nuccio also co-chaired the Toy Association (TA) associate panel representing designers and inventors in the toy industry. [7] He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the United Inventors Association of America (UIA), People of Play (POP) advisory board and the education committee of the Toy Association (TA). [8] He writes a column in Toy & Family Entertainment magazine focusing on the industry and he has lectured several times at New York Toy Fair, ASTRA, ChiTAG, Hong Kong Toy Fair and inventor organizations. In 2018, the National Security Agency (NSA) honored Nuccio as an American Innovator and in 2019 Matt was selected to represent the United States at the Emerging Innovation Summit in Melbourne, Australia. As of 2023, Nuccio has been recognized by MOJO NATION as one of the 100 Most Influential People working in the toy industry today for five years consecutively. In 2023, Matt was chosen by the United Nations to represent the US inventor community as an elected board member of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA). [9]
Twister is a game of physical skill produced by Milton Bradley Company and Winning Moves Games USA. It is played on a large plastic mat that is spread on the floor or ground. The mat has four rows of six large colored circles on it with a different color in each row: red, yellow, green and blue. A spinner tells players where they have to place their hand or foot. The game promotes itself as "the game that ties you up in knots".

Toy Fair New York's promoters describe it as the largest toy trade show in the Western hemisphere.
Lego Harry Potter is a Lego theme based on the film series of the same name and the eponymous novels by British author J. K. Rowling. It is licensed from Warner Bros. Lego models of important scenes, vehicles and characters were made for the first six films and all of the published books. The first sets appeared in 2001, to coincide with the release of the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Subsequent sets were released alongside the new films, until Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The line then went dormant for three years, with sets being released in 2010 and 2011. In 2018, it was announced that more sets based on the Harry Potter franchise would be released, including new sets based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and its sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Lego Creator is a Lego theme for generic models. Creator sets have few specialized bricks to create buildings, creatures, vehicles, and robots. Some sets featured instructions for three different possible builds from the bricks included and most sets in recent years have used the 3-in-1 label. Creator is also a parent theme to Lego Icons, a Lego subtheme for adolescents and adults featuring advanced building techniques and large piece counts, mostly known for Modular Buildings and detailed vehicles. Creator also has had several other subthemes such as X-Pods and mosaics.
Lazer Tag is a brand name for the pursuit game using infrared toy guns, generically known as "laser tag". It was developed by Worlds of Wonder and launched in 1986. As one of America's top hit toys of 1986-1987, Lazer Tag was aggressively leveraged by Worlds of Wonder's retail sales network in an ultimatum to force the Nintendo Entertainment System into retail stores, allowing its smash hit nationwide launch, which prompted Nintendo of America to lead the nation's recovery from the 1983 video game crash and dominate the industry.
