Mattmax (born Matthew Abiodun Aina) is a Nigerian music video director, cinematographer, commercial director, and filmmaker. Mattmax is the CEO and owner of Mattmax Productions. [1] He has written and directed music videos for numerous artists across an array of genres including Timaya, Terry G, Olamide, Burna Boy, J. Martins, [2] Dj Xclusive, Dj Spinall, Omawumi, and Waje.
Born to Christian parents and christened Matthew Abiodun Aina, Mattmax studied Computer Science at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. After college, he studied visual effects on the internet. According to him, "Everything I know today is self-taught, stumbling on the internet here and there." [3] Mattmax is married to Eniola Adeola Aina of Dartistebyawele [4] [5] and attends Cathedral Church Of Christ, Lagos.
After a year of rigorous self-study, Mattmax was approached by artist Slim Joe to direct the music video for his single, "O ti yanyan". [6] [7] The video exceeded Slim Joe's expectations and became popular. [8] After seeing his work on TV, Mattmax decided he would never stop. Years later, he shot Olamide's "Voice of the street" [9] [10] and D Banj's "Don’t tell me nonsense", [11] putting him in the spotlight. His videos have received several nominations and awards, including seven nominations at the Nigerian Music and Video Awards. [12] Mattmax continues to work with artists in various genres, such as Grammy-nominated Burna Boy [13] [14] and Timaya. Inetimi Timaya Odon , better known by his stage name Timaya, is a multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter. He hails from Odi, Bayelsa state, South-South Nigeria. He is fondly called the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa as a tribute to his roots, to which he has given a lot back. Panshak Henry Zamani better known as Ice Prince Zamani or just Ice Prince, is a Nigerian rapper, hip hop recording artist and actor. He rose to fame after releasing "Oleku", one of Nigeria's most remixed songs of all time. He won the 2009 Hennessy Artistry Club Tour. His debut studio album Everybody Loves Ice Prince was released in 2011. It was supported by three singles: "Oleku", "Superstar" and "Juju". In 2013, Ice Prince released Fire of Zamani as his second studio album. The album contained the singles "Aboki", "More", "Gimme Dat" and "I Swear". On 1 July 2015, Ice Prince was announced as the vice president of Chocolate City. He held the position until he left the label in 2016. He has collaborated with top African rappers like Navio of Uganda, Khaligraph Jones of Kenya, AKA of South Africa, Sarkodie of Ghana among others.

D'Kings Men is a compilation album by Nigerian record label DB Records. It was released on June 24, 2013, by the label and Sony. The album was produced by Don Jazzy, Jay Sleek and Dee Vee. It features guest appearances from Kanye West, Big Sean, Snoop Lion, Fally Ipupa, Durella, Olamide, Ikechukwu and Naeto C. D'Kings Men produced eleven singles—"Oliver Twist", "Sister Caro", "Oyato", "Bachelor", "Top of the World", "Cashflow", "Don't Tell Me Nonsense", "For Example", "Finally", "Why You Love Me" and "Obimo ". It received mixed reviews from music critics, who panned its lyrics and sound.
"V.I.P" is a song by Nigerian hip hop recording artist Ice Prince. It was released on April 24, 2013, by Chocolate City. The song was originally intended to be included on Ice Prince's second studio album Fire of Zamani (2013), but was ultimately removed from the final track-listing due to reasons that haven't been made public. It peaked at 26 on Afribiz's Top 100 chart. "V.I.P" debuted at number 9 on MTV Base's Official Naija Top 10 chart from July 6 through July 13, 2013. It entered the music countdown alongside "Personally".

He first gained prominence in 2004, while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM. He later joined Industry Nite where he promoted underground talents at the weekly platform. He was the official DJ to Wande Coal while he was affiliated with Mavin Records. He created a style edge to his outfit known as TheCAP, tracing his roots back to his culture. TheCAP, which fans tags as "TheCrazyAzzParty" has since then been his brand power and identity.
