Judo is an unarmed modern Japanese martial art, Olympic sport, and the most prominent form of jacket wrestling competed internationally. Judo was created in 1882 by Kanō Jigorō as an eclectic martial art, distinguishing itself from its predecessors due to an emphasis on "randori" instead of "kata" alongside its removal of striking and weapon training elements. Judo rose to prominence for its dominance over established jujutsu schools in tournaments hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, resulting in its adoption as the department's primary martial art. A judo practitioner is called a "judoka", and the judo uniform is called "judogi".
Keirin – literally "racing cycle" – is a form of motor-paced cycle racing in which track cyclists sprint for victory following a speed-controlled start behind a motorized or non-motorized pacer. The men's field hockey tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics was the 18th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held over a fourteen-day period beginning on 20 July, and culminating with the medal finals on 2 August. Games were played at the Herndon Stadium and the Panther Stadium, both located in Atlanta, United States.
Wunna Maung Lwin is a Burmese politician and a member of State Administration Council. He was a Minister of Foreign Affairs under Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Min Aung Hlaing after the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état. He previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from March 2011 to March 2016. He is a retired colonel in the Myanmar Army.

Choi Kyu-Woong is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He also collected two medals in both 100 and 200 m breaststroke at the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong, China. Choi is a member of the swimming team at the Korea National Sport University in Seoul, under his personal coach Lee Woo-Shin.
Kang Moon-kyu is a South Korean field hockey player. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament. His twin brother, Kang Moon-kweon, is also an Olympic field hockey player.
Jasurbek Latipov is an Uzbekistani boxer, born in Andijan. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's flyweight, but was defeated in the third round. In the 2013 World Amateur Championships, he reached the final, where he lost to Mikhail Aloyan. In 2017, he reached the final again, this time losing the Cuban boxer, Yosbany Veitia. That year, he also won the Asian Championships, beating In Kyu Kim in the final. In 2018, he won the Flyweight division at the Asian Games, beating Rogen Ladon.
The Myanmar Medical Association is Myanmar's only professional organisation of physicians. Founded in 1949 by Dr. Shwe Thwin, the association has a current membership of approximately 17,000 members (2011). It is administered by a central executive committee and is divided into 33 different societies dedicated to a broad range of medical specialties. MMA holds an annual conference and also provides continued medical education for its members. MMA publishes the Myanmar Medical Journal.
Suk Bahadur Thapa is a Burmese footballer who served as the major for 4th Infantry Battalion of Myanmar Army. He was also a dominating tennis and field hockey player as well as the national 100-meter sprint champion which he held under 11 seconds. Bahadur is a Gurkha from the Shan State in Myanmar.
Kim Kyu-hwan was a South Korean football player who played for the South Korea in the 1948 Olympic. After retirement, He was appointed assistant manager in South Korea national football team in 1962
Yadanabon is a 1953 Burmese black-and-white drama film, directed by Tin Maung starring Tin Maung, Kyi Kyi Htay, Tin Tin Mu and Maung Aye Kyu. A1 Film Company won the Best Picture Award and Tin Maung won the Best Actor Award in 1953 Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards.
May Thit was a Burmese actress and singer. She won Best Actress Award for 1960, Best Supporting Actress Award for 1964 and 1976 in Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards. She was famous around between 1950s and 1990s.
