Max Brown (born May 7, 2003) is an American football quarterback for the Charlotte 49ers. He previously played for the Florida Gators.
Brown attended Lincoln Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his high school career, he had 4,416 passing-yards and 68 touchdowns. As a senior, he was the Oklahoma District 3-3A MVP. [1] Brown committed to the University of Florida to play college football. [2] [3] [4]
Brown redshirted his first year at Florida in 2022. He entered 2023 as the backup to Graham Mertz. [5] After Mertz suffered an injury, Brown started his first career game against Florida State. [6] [7] He entered the transfer portal on December 4, 2023. [8]
On December 11, 2023, Brown announced that he would be transferring to Charlotte. [9]
