Max Eberle (born November 27, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an American professional pool player. Eberle reached the semi-finals of the Dragon 14.1 Tournament, [1] in 2006. [2] Eberle won the 2013 Derby City Classic 14.1 Challenge, [3] He won the BCA National Junior Championship in 1991. [4]

Oliver Ortmann is a German professional pool player from Gelsenkirchen. Ortmann is a three-time world champion, winning the 1995 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and the 2007 and 2010 World Straight Pool Championship. Ortmann became the second player to win three WPA world championships. With fourteen wins, he the second most successful player at the European Pool Championships. Ortmann is also the second most successful player on the Euro Tour, winning fourteen events. Ortmann was the first non-American player to win the BCA U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship, in 1989.

John Schmidt is an American pool player, born in Keokuk, Iowa. Nicknamed "Mr. 600", specialising in straight pool, Schmidt held the record for the highest run made (626), until Jayson Shaw broke that record with a high run of 669 in January 2022. Schmidt won the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships in 2006 defeating Rodolfo Luat in the final. He was also part of the American team at two Mosconi Cups in 2006 and 2014.

Jayson Shaw is a Scottish professional pool player. In 2010, Shaw was a WPA World Blackball Champion. In 2016, Shaw won the 25th International Challenge of Champions event.

Skyler Woodward is an American professional pool player. At the 2017 World Cup of Pool, he was the runner up, alongside Shane Van Boening. Woodward has represented the United States each year in the Mosconi Cup since the 2015 Mosconi Cup. At the 2018 and 2019 events Woodward was voted the Most Valuable Player.

Charlie Williams is an American professional pool player. Williams represented America as a player at the Mosconi Cup 5 times and as a non-playing captain in 2011. In 2001, Williams founded the sports marketing company Dragon Promotions.

Francisco Sánchez Ruíz is a Spanish professional pool player and the reigning World champion in both eight-ball and nine-ball.

The 2014 Derby City Classic was a professional pool tournament and the 16th Edition of the Derby City Classic. It took place from January 24 to February 1, 2014, in Horseshoe Southern Indiana in Elizabeth, Indiana. Competitions were held in the disciplines nine-ball, ten-ball, one-pocket, straight, and bank pool. The Master of the Table awarded for the best player overall was won by Dennis Orcollo.
