Max Paul Riedel

Max Paul Riedel (19 February 1870, Magdeburg- 27 March 1941 Frankfurt (Oder)) was a German entomologist who specialised in Diptera, especially Tipulidae and Tachinidae. He wrote "Die palaarktischen Arten der Dipteren-Gattung Tipula L." [1] and many shorter scientific papers on Tipulidae.

Carl Ludwig Kirschbaum was a German entomologist, Professor of Biology and Museum Director of Museum Wiesbaden. Kirschbaum specialised in Auchenorrhyncha. Hermann Julius Kolbe was a German entomologist from Halle, Westphalia. He was curator at the Berlin Zoological Museum from 1890 until 1921 specialising in Coleoptera, Psocoptera and Neuroptera. He died in Berlin-Lichterfelde.

Karl Borromaeus Maria Josef Heller, was an Austrian entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera. He was a Professor and Section leader in the Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde Dresden where his collection is maintained. Heller was a taxonomist. He described many new species of world fauna. He was a Member of the Stettin Entomological Society.
