Maxwell Thurmond (born March 1, 1978) is an American football coach, currently serving as a senior offensive analyst at Tennessee. [1] He previously served as interim head football coach at Jacksonville State University after John Grass resigned with two games remaining in their 2001 season. [2] Previous to serving as interim head coach for the Gamecocks, Thurmond served as an assistant coach for Reinhardt, West Alabama, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Charlotte, and Jacksonville State. [3]

Jacksonville State University (JSU) is a public university in Jacksonville, Alabama. Founded in 1883, Jacksonville State offers programs of study in six academic schools leading to bachelor's, master's, education specialist, and doctorate degrees in addition to certificate programs and continuing education opportunities. In the Fall semester of 2011, JSU began offering the school's first doctoral degree, Doctor of Science in Emergency Management. In 2016, the university gained approval to offer its second doctorate, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
Dirk Jeffrey Koetter is an American football coach who is currently serving as the interim offensive coordinator at Boise State University. He was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) from 2016 to 2018. Koetter was also the head coach at Boise State University from 1998 to 2000 and at Arizona State University from 2001 to 2006, compiling a career college football record of 66–44 (.600). Koetter was the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Buccaneers.
Charles Rene Strong is an American football coach who was most recently the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at the University of Miami. He recently served as the assistant head coach and inside linebackers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL) in 2021 and also previously served as a defensive analyst at the University of Alabama in 2020.

Cooper served as the head football coach at Eastern Michigan University (1993–1994), the University of Louisville (1995–1997), Alabama A&M (1998–2001), and the interim head coach at FIU (2016). A native of Huntsville, Alabama, he played high school football at Lee High School and college football at Jacksonville State University.

Peter Rossomando is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the eleventh head coach at NCAA Division I FCS member Lamar University, named on December 10, 2022. He served as the interim head coach at University of North Carolina at Charlotte for the final four games of the 2022 football season. He had been the 49er's offensive line coach for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He was previously the offensive line coach for Vanderbilt University during the 2020 football season. John Clyde Grass is an American football coach. He is the former head football coach at the Jacksonville State University, a position he held from 2014 until 2021. Grass joined the coaching staff of the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in 2013 as assistant head coach and offensive coordinator under Bill Clark. He previously coached high school football in the state of Alabama for over two decades.
