Mayaboti is a 2019 Bangladeshi romantic drama film written, screenplay and directed by Arun Chowdhury. [1] Cinematography by Tanvir Anzum and produced by Anwar Azad Films and Anonno Srishti. [2] The film stars Nusrat Imrose Tisha as the title character alongside Yash Rohan, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Dilara Zaman, Aruna Biswas, Raisul Islam Asad and others. [3]

Production

The shooting of the film started on 15 December 2018. [4] The shooting of the film took place in Manikganj, Rajbari, Kaliakair and Old Dhaka. In order to maintain the credibility of the story, the shooting has been done in the sex village of Daulatdia. [5] The shooting of the film was completed on 15 January 2019. [6]

Release

On 17 June 2019, the film was cleared by the Censor Board without any cuts. [7] Then on August 22, 2019, a one and a half minute teaser of the film was released. [8] [9] [10] The film was released in 22 theaters in Bangladesh on 13 September 2019 by Jaaz Multimedia. [11] [12] The film outside Bangladesh was released on 27 October 2019 in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. [13]
