The mayor of San Jose del Monte (Filipino : Punong Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte) is the head of the local government of the city who elected to three year terms. The Mayor is also the executive head and leads the city's departments in executing the city ordinances and improving public services. The city mayor is restricted to three consecutive terms, totaling nine years, although a mayor can be elected again after an interruption of one term.

Arthur Bardillon Robes is a Filipino politician and the current mayor of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Robes also served as the former Representative of the lone district of San Jose del Monte for three consecutive terms from 2007 to 2016. He is married to the current Representative of San Jose del Monte, Florida "Rida" Perez-Robes. Robes has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Marketing at the San Sebastian College – Recoletos.

Angelito Monsura Sarmiento was a Filipino politician. A member of Liberal Party/Partido Del Pilar, he served as the mayor of the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan from 2004 and 2007 and from 2009 to 2010.

San Jose del Monte's at-large congressional district is the sole congressional district of the Philippines in the city of San Jose del Monte and one of seven in the province of Bulacan. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 2004. San Jose del Monte first elected a single representative city-wide at-large for the 13th Congress following the passage of Republic Act No. 9230 in 2003 which amended the 2000 San Jose del Monte City Charter.
