Mayra Alejandra Pelayo-Bernal (born 29 January 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga MX Femenil side Tijuana. [3] Born and raised in the United States, she represents Mexico internationally.
In August 2021, she signed with América. [4] In January 2023, she was announced as a player for Tijuana. [5] [6]
Pelayo-Bernal made her debut for the Mexico women's national team on 22 September 2023 in a 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup qualification game against Puerto Rico. [7]

On December 2, 2012, Tijuana defeated Toluca 2–0 to win their first Liga MX title. Tijuana did not qualify to the final phase in the Clausura tournament and were eliminated by Atlético Mineiro in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores.
