McGees is an extinct town in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Washington. [1]

The community was named after Samuel McGee, an early settler. [2]

McGee is an unincorporated community in eastern Wayne County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately twenty-three miles northeast of Poplar Bluff, at an elevation of 387 feet (118 m). Fords Branch is an unincorporated community located in Pike County, Kentucky, United States. It was settled by Joseph Ford and his family just following the American Revolutionary War. Ford was a lieutenant in the North Carolina militia; his descendants still live there. Captain William Ford served during the Civil War and named Fords Branch for his wife, Malinda McGee Ford. The original name of Malinda Ford's Branch was shortened when the US Post Office was established in January 1903.

McGees Mills is an unincorporated community in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States. A gristmill operated by Henry Holmes McGee eventually resulted in the name. The community is located at the junction of U.S. Route 219 and Pennsylvania Route 36, 2 miles (3.2 km) west-northwest of Mahaffey. The McGees Mills Covered Bridge crosses the West Branch of the Susquehanna River at McGees Mills.
