The Cymru Premier, known as the JD Cymru Premier for sponsorship reasons, is the national football league of Wales. It has both professional and semi-professional status clubs and is at the top of the Welsh football league system. Prior to 2002, the league was known as the League of Wales (LoW), but changed its name as part of a sponsorship deal to the Welsh Premier League. The league was rebranded as the Cymru Premier for the 2019–20 season.
Bangor City Football Club is a Welsh inactive football club from the City of Bangor, Gwynedd. They started the 2021–22 season in the Cymru North the second level of the Welsh football league system, but on 30 November were suspended from any football activity due to non-payment of wages. On 18 February 2022 the club announced they had withdrawn from the league and the Football Association of Wales confirmed the club's results from the league that season has been expunged. Porthmadog Football Club are a football team, playing in the Ardal NW, in the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid. The club was founded in 1872 and plays at Y Traeth, Porthmadog, which accommodates 3,000 spectators.
Rhyl Football Club was a Welsh football club based in Rhyl, a seaside resort town located in Denbighshire. It withdrew from footballing activities in April 2020 and had its entire footballing record for the 2019–20 season expunged. It was formally dissolved 18 months later in October 2021.

St Mary's Church is a medieval church in the town of Llannerch-y-medd, Anglesey, Wales. St Mary's Church is dedicated to Saint Mary. The east doorway in the tower and other parts of the tower probably date to the 12th century. It was extensively rebuilt in 1850 by the architect Henry Kennedy of Bangor. It was designated a Grade II-listed building on 5 December 1970.

A corresponding North Wales Coast East Football League will be also be established at the same time.
The 2021–22 Cymru North season was the second season of the second-tier northern region football in Welsh football pyramid. Teams were to play each other twice on a home and away basis.
Llanerch-y-medd Football Club is a Welsh football team based in Llannerch-y-medd, Anglesey, Wales. The team currently play in the North Wales Coast West Football League Premier Division, which is at the fourth tier of the Welsh football league system.
