Meet the Flower Kings is the second live album by the progressive rock band The Flower Kings. It was released in 2003 as a double-CD, and also as a two-disc DVD concert video. A limited release book-case version of this includes both the 2-CD and 2-DVD sets together, along with a booklet.
The show was recorded at the Stadsteater in Uppsala, Sweden, on February 10, 2003.

Transatlantic is a multinational progressive rock supergroup consisting of Neal Morse, Roine Stolt, Pete Trewavas and Mike Portnoy. They formed in 1999 as a side project to their full-time bands, but disbanded in 2002. They then reunited in 2009.
The Flower Kings are a Swedish progressive rock band formed in 1994 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Roine Stolt. The group began as Stolt's touring band to support his third solo album The Flower King. They continued performing after the tour and have gone on to become one of the most prolific studio recording units in progressive rock, having released over twenty hours of music spread across sixteen studio albums. Their music is similar to early symphonic progressive rock groups such as Yes, marked by sharp dynamic changes, polyrhythms, heavy bass, vocal harmonies, abstract lyrics, and extended song lengths.
Daniel Gildenlöw is a Swedish musician and songwriter. He is best known as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist for the progressive rock band Pain of Salvation. In the band, he is the main songwriter, lead singer, co-guitarist, and the mastermind behind each album's concept. He has also performed with The Flower Kings, Transatlantic and The Sea Within.
