The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers or colloquially the Tig(e)s, is a professional Australian rules football team competing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Founded in 1885 in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1885 to 1907, winning two premierships. Richmond then joined the Victorian Football League from the 1908 season and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020.

Liam Baker is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Richmond Tigers in the Australian Football League (AFL). He played junior representative football with West Perth in the WAFL and represented Western Australia at national championships at under 18 level. After being undrafted in 2016, Baker then played senior WAFL football with Subiaco. Baker was drafted by the Richmond tigers in the 2018 rookie draft and made his AFL debut in round 19, 2018. He was an AFL premiership player with Richmond in 2019 and 2020, and in 2020 was named to the AFL's 22Under22 team, recognising the best young players in the league. In 2022, Baker was presented the AFLPA most Courageous in the AFL award. The captain of the Richmond Football Club, Dylan Grimes, presented the award to Baker, with Patrick Dangerfield announcing the achievement. In 2024, Baker requested a trade back to Western Australia, officially nominating the West Coast Eagles as his preferred destination just an hour after former Richmond assistant Andrew McQualter was announced as the Eagles new head coach on the 30th of September.
Ashleigh Riddell is an Australian rules footballer playing for the North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Riddell is a three-time AFL Women's All-Australian and won the North Melbourne best and fairest award in season 6.
The 2020 AFL Women's season was the fourth season of the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition, the highest-level senior women's Australian rules football competition in Australia. The season featured 14 clubs and ran from 7 February to 22 March; it was intended to comprise an eight-round home-and-away season followed by a three-week finals series featuring the top three clubs from each conference, however the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March saw the season curtailed and finally abandoned without a premiership being awarded. Australian Football League (AFL) clubs Gold Coast, Richmond, St Kilda and West Coast featured for the first time in 2020.
The 2020 AFL Women's draft consists of the various periods when the 14 clubs in the AFL Women's competition can recruit players prior to the competition's 2021 season.

Luka Lesosky-Hay is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). After a junior career with the Geelong Falcons in the NAB League Girls competition, Lesosky-Hay was overlooked at the 2019 draft. She was later selected to join Richmond as a train-on injury replacement player during the 2020 AFL Women's season but did not earn a league debut that season. Later that year, Lesosky-Hay was drafted by Richmond with their third selection and fifty-third overall in the 2020 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut against Brisbane at Punt Road Oval in the opening round of the 2021 season. She was delisted by Richmond in April 2021. Luka Lesosky-Hay is now pursuing a career as an artist.
