Megan Roberts (born November 21, 2000) is a senior elite Canadian artistic gymnast and a member of the Canada National team. She trains at East York Gymnastics, coached by Lawson Hamer and Lisa Cowan.
Roberts made her debut at the Elite Canada, winning every event except beam, on which she placed sixth. [1] At the Canadian Championships that year, she won vault and floor exercise gold, all-around silver, and placed fourth on bars and fifth on beam. [2]
Roberts competed at the Elite Canada in February, placing fourth in the all-around, fifth on bars, and sixth on vault. [3] She was named to the Canadian team for the International Gymnix, her international debut, where she won silver with her team and placed ninth in the all-around. [4] She went on to compete at the Junior Pan American Championships, winning team gold and placing fourth in the all-around and on uneven bars. [5] In April, she competed at the Pacific Rim Championships, winning team silver and placing eighth on beam and eleventh in the all-around. [6] In May, Roberts competed at the Canadian Championships in Ottawa, winning silver on both the vault and floor, bronze in the all-around, and placing fourth on bars. [7] In November, she competed at the Elite Gym Massilia in France. In the Open division, she won team and balance beam silver and placed tenth in the all-around. In the Master division, she placed fourth on floor, fifth with her team, sixth on vault, and twenty-fifth in the all-around.
Roberts competed at the Elite Canada in January, she won gold in the all-arounds. In the Event finals she won gold on bars, floor and vault and bronze on beam. [8] In February, Roberts competed with Team Ontario at the 2015 Canada Winter Games. She won Silver in the Team Event, Bronze in the All Arounds and was the only gymnast to win more than one final in the women's event taking Gold on both vault and floor and a silver medal on beam to cap a strong overall performance. [9] In March, Roberts competed with Team Canada at Gymnix International, where they won Gold and she placed fifth in the all-arounds. [10] She also won Silver on both vault and floor in the event finals. Later in March, Roberts competed with Team Canada at the City of Jesolo Trophy where they won Silver. [11] Roberts also won Bronze in the Floor Event finals. [12]
In May, Roberts competed at the Canadian Championships in Gatineau, winning Gold in the All Arounds with a score of 55.400. [13] In the Event Finals, she won Gold on Vault and Floor as well as Silver on Bars. She had the highest score on Vault 15.050 and Floor 14.2 of all Juniors and Seniors both days combined. Megan also won the Juniors Qualification round with 1st place on Bars, Vault and Floor. [14] As well, she was chosen as the Junior High Performance athlete of the year and received an award for earning Medals for Canada in International events.
In September, Roberts competed at the Japan Junior International. She won Silver on Floor in the event finals. [15]
Roberts made her Senior debut in January at Elite Canada in Halifax Nova Scotia. She won Silver in the All-Arounds and Bronze on floor in the Event Finals. [16] In April, she competed at the 2016 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, winning team silver and placing fifth on balance beam and sixth on floor exercise in the event finals. In June, Megan competed at the 2016 Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Edmonton. In the qualification round, she placed 4th with a score of 55.200 and in the All Around/Event Finals she placed 5th with a score of 54.950. She won the Bronze on Bars and placed 4th on Beam. [17]
At the beginning of July, she competed at the Rio Olympic selection camp in Gatineau, Que. She came in 3rd (54.717) on Day 1 and 5th (54.250) on Day 2. She was named 1st alternate to the team. In August, she travelled with the Olympic team to Rio for the 2016 Summer Olympics.[ citation needed ]
In February, Roberts competed at Elite Canada, she placed 4th in the all-arounds and won Gold on floor and 4th on beam in the Event Finals. [18]
In February, Roberts competed at Elite Canada, she placed 8th in the all-arounds. [19]
In May, Roberts competed at The Canadian National Championships, she placed 13th in the two day combined all-arounds. [20]
In September, Roberts started her NCAA career with the Georgia Gym Dogs.

Mattie Larson is an American former artistic gymnast. She competed at the senior elite level from 2008 to 2010. Larson was the 2010 U.S. national champion on floor exercise. At that year's World Championships, she won a silver medal with the U.S. in the team competition. Larson then competed at UCLA from 2012 to 2014.
Rachael Riley is a Canadian artistic gymnast and member of the Canadian national gymnastics team.
Anna Yurievna Dementyeva is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2011 European all-around and beam champion, and a world gold medalist with the team.
Kristina Vaculik is a Canadian artistic gymnast who represented Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2011–2012, Vaculik took a year off from Stanford University, which she attended on a gymnastics scholarship, in order to train full-time for the Olympics.
Christine Jennifer Peng-Peng Lee is a retired Canadian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the Canadian team that qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, though a knee injury prevented her from competing in the Games. She attended UCLA and led the gymnastics team to the 2018 NCAA National Championship. Lee prefers to use her Chinese name Peng Peng when doing gymnastics, saying it makes her feel like "someone completely different."
Elsabeth Ann Black is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is a three-time Olympian, having represented her country at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2017 World all-around silver medalist, making her the first Canadian gymnast to win a world all-around medal, and she led the Canadian women's gymnastics team to a bronze medal in the 2022 World Championships team final, the first world team medal won by a Canadian gymnastics team. She won a silver medal on the balance beam at the 2022 World Championships. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around champion, a two-time Pan American Games all-around champion, and a six-time Canadian national all-around champion. At the 2020 Olympic Games, Black placed fourth in the balance beam final, the highest placement in the Olympics for a female Canadian gymnast.
Anastasia Andreyevna Ilyankova is a Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic silver medalist, the 2019 European champion, and the 2019 and 2020 Russian champion on the uneven bars. She is a four-time FIG World Cup medalist, and she finished fourth on the uneven bars at the 2017 World Championships.
Seda Gurgenovna Tutkhalyan is a Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2014 Youth Olympic Games Individual All-around champion and a 2016 Summer Olympics Team silver medalist.
Louise Vanhille is a retired French female artistic gymnast. She participated at the 2015 and 2018 World Championships. She represented France at the 2016 Summer Olympics where the French team finished eleventh, and Vanhille finished twenty-first in the all-around final.
Denisa Golgotă is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast. She won two medals at the 2018 European Championships – a silver on floor exercise and a bronze on vault.
Shallon Jade Olsen is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World silver medalist and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion on vault. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games floor exercise bronze medalist and the 2019 Pan American Games vault bronze medalist. She was a member of the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. She is also the 2016 Pacific Rim vault champion, team silver medalist, and floor exercise bronze medalist. She represented Canada at the 2016 Olympics where she was the youngest member of the Canadian Olympic team and at the 2020 Olympic Games. Additionally, she currently competes for the University of Alabama gymnastics team, and she helped the Crimson Tide win the 2021 SEC Championships.
Brooklyn Chloe Moors is a Canadian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games and represented Canada at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 World Championships. At the 2017 World Championships, she became the first Canadian to win the Longines Prize for Elegance. She is the 2019 Pan American Games champion on the floor exercise and the silver medalist with the team. She is also the 2017 Pan American champion on the floor exercise. She currently competes for the UCLA Bruins in collegiate gymnastics.
Emma Spence is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2022 World Championships and won a bronze in the team event, their first team medal. She won bronze with the team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Individually she is the 2018 Youth Olympic bronze medallist on vault as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games all-around and balance beam bronze medalist.
Haley de Jong is a Canadian artistic gymnast and the 2018 Pacific Rim Uneven Bars champion.
Viktoria Viktorovna Listunova is a Russian artistic gymnast. She represented the Russian Olympic Committee at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal in the team event. She was a member of the team that won gold at the inaugural Junior World Championships. Individually, she is the 2019 Junior World all-around and floor exercise champion, the 2021 European all-around champion, and the 2021, 2022, and 2023 Russian National Champion.
Elena Anatolyevna Gerasimova is a Russian artistic gymnast who represented Russian Olympic Committee athletes at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the team who won gold at the inaugural Junior World Championships. Individually she is the 2019 Junior World Champion on the balance beam.
Zoé Allaire-Bourgie is a retired Canadian artistic gymnast and is the 2018 Junior Pan-American gold medalist on balance beam.
Konnor McClain is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team. She is the 2022 U.S National Champion and was the 2019 City of Jesolo Trophy and the 2019 U.S. Classic Junior All-Around Champion.
Skye Amiel Blakely is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams who won gold at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, silver at the 2022 Pan American Championships, and bronze at the inaugural Junior World Championships. She is the younger sister of gymnast Sloane Blakely.
Emily Whitehead is an Australian artistic gymnast. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, she won a bronze medal in the team event and on the vault. She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics and is a two-time Oceanic all-around champion (2021-22). She is the 2015 Australian junior national all-around champion and a three-time national all-around medalist at the senior level. She won a silver medal on the vault at the 2018 Melbourne World Cup.
