Meghara McManus (born April 12, 1998) is an American former ice hockey player who played for the Boston Pride in the now defunct Premier Hockey Federation.

Career

In 140 NCAA games at the University of New Hampshire, McManus scored 84 points. As a senior she was awarded the team MVP of the UNH Wildcats while leading the team in goals (17) and points (27). [1] [2] [3]

McManus was drafted in the 5th round of the 2020 NWHL Draft and signed a one-year deal with the Boston Pride on June 23, 2020. [4] [5] [6] [7] In her first two seasons with the Pride, the team won back-to-back Isobel Cup championships.

Personal life

McManus majored in psychology at the University of New Hampshire. [1]

The Boston Pride were a professional women's ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They were one of the four charter franchises of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). The Pride played at Warrior Ice Arena, which is also the practice facility for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. The Pride won the inaugural Isobel Cup in 2016 and became the first professional women's ice hockey team to win three championship titles when they claimed consecutive victories in 2021 and 2022.
