Meharban Singh is an Indian pediatrician, neonatologist and medical writer, who has published on child care. He was WHO consultant on Newborn Care in South-East Asia for longtime. He has served for more than 3 decades in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He was president of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics in 1993. [1]

It also publishes another medical journal called Indian Journal of Practical Pediatrics from Chennai.

He is currently the Chairman of the Manipal Advanced Children's Center and Chairman and HOD of Neonatology and Neonatal ICUs at the Manipal Hospitals Group as well as an adjunct professor of paediatrics, KMC at Manipal University.

Certified in Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) is the designation in the USA for a paramedic, physician, respiratory therapist, neonatal nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse or physician assistant who has earned certification from the National Certification Corporation in neonatal and pediatric transport. This certificate of added qualification was rolled out in 2009. National Certification Corporation utilizes applied measurement professionals to administer its tests.

Dr. (Prof.) Sheila Singh Paul, MRCP, FRCP, DCH, DTM was the Founder and Director of Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital, New Delhi. She was the first Indian woman to be given such a huge responsibility and she was only 40 years old at that time. She is a pioneer in the field of Pediatrics in India. Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital is one of the largest children hospitals in Asia and was Delhi's first independent children's hospital and not just a department. The Hospital was inaugurated on 17 March 1956 by Lady Edwina Mountbatten, Countess Mountbatten of Burma. It was built from the proceeds of the property donated by Mr Raghubir Saran and Mr Raghunandan Saran of New Delhi and was named after the wife of late Mr Raghubir Saran. It has a separate department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for which the initial electrical and electronic equipment was donated by the Government of the Soviet Union (USSR).

Neelam Kler is an Indian neonatologist, known for her pioneering work on neonatal intensive care and ventilation. She is credited with developing neonatal care to better the survival rate of extremely tiny preterm babies to 90 percent. The Government of India honoured her with the third-highest civilian award, Padmabhushan, in 2014, for her services to the fields of medicine and neonatology.

Shiba Kumar Rai is a Professor of medical microbiology and member of National Planning Commission (NPC) of the government of Nepal. He is also founding chairman of Shi-Gan Health Foundation, Shi-Gan Int’l College of Science & Technology (SICOST), Nat’l Institute of Tropical Medicine & Public Health Research, DASHIMURA Foundation & DEVIS Multipurpose (P) Ltd.

Lala Suraj Nandan Prasad (1914–2009) was an Indian pediatrician and a former professor of pediatrics of the Patna Medical College and Hospital whose efforts were reportedly behind the establishment of the department of pediatrics and the development of the children's ward into a 250-bed Children's Hospital at the institution. He was the founder president of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics when the organization was formed in 1964 though the merger of the erstwhile Indian Pediatric Society and the Association of Pediatricians of India. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri in 1974.

Sanjeev Bagai is an Indian pediatrician and nephrologist known for his proficiency in pediatric nephrology and neonatology. He is chairman of the Nephron Clinic in New Delhi, India. He was a visiting professor of pediatrics at Saint Justin Hospital in Canada and University of Toledo, Ohio and has taught at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Shantilal Chhaganlal Sheth (1912–1990) was an Indian pediatrician and the president of several medical institutions including the Medical Council of India, the apex body for matters related to medical administration and education in India. An honorary surgeon commander at the Indian Navy, he served as the honorary physician to the President of India. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 1972, for his contributions to medicine.

Santosh Gajanan Honavar is an Indian ophthalmologist and is currently the Honorary General Secretary of the All India Ophthalmological Society; Director of Medical Services ; Director, Department of Ocular Oncology and Oculoplasty at Centre for Sight, Hyderabad; and Director, National Retinoblastoma Foundation. Vinod Kumar Paul is an Indian pediatrician and physician scientist currently serving as Member, NITI Aayog.
