Agnes Melanie Siahaan (born 24 February 1981), better known by the stage name Melaney Ricardo, is an Indonesian actress, presenter, radio announcer, and content creator. She was known for her comedic style and chatty appearance, and is credited as one of the very extrovert presenter.
Melaney Ricardo was born Agnes Melanie Siahaan on 24 February 1981 in Medan, North Sumatera, as the eldest child and daughter of the three children of Ricardo Siahaan and Sylvia Herawatie. [1] She had a younger sister, Nana, her private manager, and a younger brother, Roy, a singer. [1] Melaney Ricardo was raised in Jakarta and only lived in Medan for a year, and completed her high school education there before went to Trisakti University majoring in international relations. [1]
Melaney Ricardo is a Christian. [1] In 2015, her name was used for scam Facebook account by a pedophile and sexual predator who held a photo contest Bayi Mandi Telanjang (Baby Naked Swim). [2] She later announced on her Twitter account to report and block the fake account. [2]
Melaney Ricardo is married to Tyson James Lynch, an Australian English teacher, on 31 July 2010. [1] They had two children: Chloe Valentine and Courage Jordan. [1]
On 3 October 2020, Melaney Ricardo was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was hospitalized for seventeen days. [3] In 2023, Melaney Ricardo revealed that she was diagnosed with adenomyosis and underwent hysterectomy procession. [4]

RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.

Batam, Bandung, Semarang, Surakarta and Yogyakarta followed on 2 December 2022, followed by Surabaya on 20 December 2022, Banjarmasin on 20 March 2023, Bali and Palembang on 31 March 2023, Makassar on 20 June 2023 and Medan on 30 July 2023. On 15 July 2023 at stroke of midnight, Trans Media and Emtek/SCM officially completed the shutdown. On 31 July 2023 at stroke of midnight, Viva Group, RTV and NET TV officially completed the shutdown of analog broadcast nationwide followed by MNC Group on 1 August 2023 at stroke of midnight. On 12 August 2023, the digital terrestrial television of Indonesia fully turned, shifted and switched to all ultra high definition on all thirteen local free-to-air terrestrial television station.
