Melanie Camp is an Australian-born media professional based in Houston, Texas. One of five children, she grew up in Perth, Western Australia.

Career

Melanie Camp [1] is a Houston based television correspondent. She is part of the team on "Houston Life", [2] a live, daytime lifestyle show that airs weekdays on KPRC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Houston.

Camp has interviewed Shaquille O'Neal. [3]

Camp was co-host on AM Buffalo, a weekday morning program on WKBW-TV, working alongside longtime host Linda Pellegrino, who retired in December 2020. After that, Camp started hosting the show. AM Buffalo was cancelled after 45 years. [4]

As a radio DJ, Camp worked for DMG's Nova 937, Austereo's 2Day FM, 96FM, and 92.9FM, where she was host of the late-night Australia's Most Wanted [5] countdown.

Camp was featured in the Perth Confidential section of The West Australian in 2012. [6]

She was in the gangster spoof "Hit Team". [7]

She is a member of the fake band TigerTripp. Their single "The Ice Cream Song" [8] was released in October 2014 and the music video had over 70,000 views on YouTube.
