The Memon Day is an international day observed annually on 10 April by the Memon community around the globe. It was declared at the 21st World Memon Organisation Charitable Foundation (WMO) AGM held on November 11, 2023. [1] [2] [3] The prime purpose of the Memon Day is to raise awareness and provide a common platform for charity related activities all over the world for Memons, charitable, philanthropic and volunteer organizations for their own purposes on the local, national, regional and international level all around the world .

Muhajir culture is the culture of the various Muslims of different ethnicities who migrated mainly from North India in 1947 & in 1971, generally to Karachi, the federal capital of Pakistan before 1960 and now the provincial capital of Sindh. Muhajirs consist of various sects, ethnicities and linguistic groups, and are mainly concentrated in urban Sindh and Islamabad. According to 2023 Pakistani census Muhajirs are 5th largest ethnic group of Pakistan with 9.25%.

Lesbian Visibility Week is an annual observance in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries dedicated to increasing the awareness of lesbian women and their issues. It was originally celebrated in July in 1990 in California, and more recently in April, starting with Lesbian Visibility Day on April 26. It has been celebrated in England and Wales.
