Prof. Mendu Rammohan Rao was the Dean Emeritus of Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He was Provost at the Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad.

Biography

He has a PhD in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, [1] a Master in Engineering and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management.

He also taught at the Stern School of Business, New York University, Graduate School of Management, University of Rochester, Professor and as a visiting faculty at the University of Tennessee. He has held various positions at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) including the position of Director from March 1997 to May 2002. Before joining ISB as DEAN he was Professor Emeritus, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Prof Rao has published over 85 articles in various professional journals.

In December 2008, the board of Satyam, including Prof Rammohan Rao, approved the acquisition for $1.6 billion of Maytas, a construction company owned by the same family that owns Satyam. Prof. Rao was the chairperson of the meeting that approved the controversial decision. A shareholder revolt prevented the deal. Prof. Rammohan Rao later resigned from the Satyam board.

Dr. Rao stepped down as dean of the Indian School of Business on 8 January 2009. He was later appointed as Dean Emeritus of the institute. On 1 July 2014, he was appointed as the Provost at Woxsen School of Business.

Patcha Ramachandra Rao was a metallurgist and administrator. From 1992 to 2002, Rao was the Director of the National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur. Science and Engineering Research Board is a statutory body under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, established by an Act of the Parliament of India in 2009. Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy (1926–2012), popularly known as Cartman Ramaswamy, was an Indian engineer, educationist, management academic and writer, and the founder director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He was the founder of Centre for Action, Research and Technology for Man, Animal and Nature (CARTMAN), a non governmental organization working for region-relevant and appropriate technology transfer to rural areas and Indian Heritage Academy, an organization involved in propagating Indian cultural traditions. He was also the founder chairman of the Adarsh Vidya Kendra (AVK) Group of educational institutions. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 2006, for his contributions to society.

Surendra Prasad is an Indian communications engineer, a former director and an Usha chair professor of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is also an emeritus professor of Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology And Management, a joint venture of IIT Delhi and is known for developing new techniques, algorithms and hardware in signal processing. He is an elected fellow of all the three major Indian science academies viz. Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy and the National Academy of Sciences, India. as well as the Indian National Academy of Engineering. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards for his contributions to Engineering Sciences in 1988.

Krishnamurthy Venkata Subramanian is an Indian economist who served as the 17th chief economic adviser to the Government of India. Subramanian is a leading expert on economic policy, banking and corporate governance, who was the youngest chief economic advisor to the Government of India, serving from 2018 to 2021.
