Yao Jie is a Chinese-born badminton player who now resides in the Netherlands.
The Mohe, Malgal, or Mogher, or Mojie, were historical groups of people that once occupied parts of what's now Northeast Asia during late antiquity. The two most well known Mohe groups were known as the Heishui Mohe, located along the Amur River, and the Sumo Mohe, named after the Songhua River. They have been traditionally defined by the approximate use of what would have been Tungusic languages. The Heishui Mohe are commonly thought as being direct ancestors to the 12th century Jurchens. The Tang documented the Mohe as inhabiting the land of Sushen, to the northeast of the Tang, east of the Turks, and north of Goguryeo.
Meng Da, courtesy name Zidu, was a military general of the state of Cao Wei during the early Three Kingdoms period of China. He previously served the warlords Liu Zhang and Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han dynasty before defecting to Wei. In Wei, he served under the first two rulers, Cao Pi and Cao Rui. Around late 227, he started a rebellion in Wei and aimed to rejoin the Shu-Han but the revolt was swiftly suppressed by the Wei general Sima Yi. Meng Da was captured and executed for treason.
Wang Meng is a Chinese short track speed skater. She is a four-time Olympic Champion and 2008 and 2009 Overall World Champion. She is the most decorated Chinese Winter Olympic athlete ever with four Olympic gold medals, a silver and a bronze. Wang won gold in the 500 m event, silver in the 1000 m and bronze in the 1500 m event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. She won 500 m and 1000 m gold medals at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and added a third gold medal in the 3000 m relay with the China team. Wang has also won 18 gold medals at the World Championships. She is one of the most decorated short track speed skaters of all time.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a Chinese television series adapted from the classical 14th century novel of the same title by Luo Guanzhong. The series was produced by China Central Television (CCTV) and was first aired on the network in 1994. It spanned a total of 84 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long. One of the most expensive television series produced at the time, the project cost 170 million yuan. It was completed over four years and involved over 400,000 cast and crew members, including divisions of the People's Liberation Army from the Beijing, Nanjing and Chengdu military regions. Some of the dialogue spoken by characters was adapted directly from the novel. Extensive battle scenes, such as the battles of Guandu, Red Cliffs and Xiaoting, were also live-acted.

The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils is a Chinese television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. It is produced by the companies Zhejiang Hua Ce Media and Dong Yang Da Qian Media, and directed by Hong Kong television series director Lai Shui-ching. Filming started on 10 November 2012. The series was first aired on Hunan TV on 22 December 2013.

Chen Meng is a Chinese professional table tennis player. She joined the provincial team when she was 9 and joined the national team when she was only 13 in 2007. She is the women's singles champion of the ITTF Women's World Cup in 2020, the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and also at the inaugural WTT Singapore Smash. She is also the silver medalist of women's singles in the 2019 World Table Tennis Championships and a double gold medalist in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The Girl in Blue is a 2010 Chinese television series starring Joe Chen, Roy Chiu and Feng Shaofeng. It is based on the novel of the same name by Fei Wo Si Cun. The series aired on Hunan Television from 4 June to 17 June 2010 for 32 episodes.
The China men's national volleyball team represents China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. The team competed twice in the Olympic Games, finishing in eighth place at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, and fifth place in the 2008 Summer Olympics at home in Beijing. China have been consistently competing the FIVB World Championship, with a best of seventh place in both 1978 and 1982. I Supermodel 2 is the second season of the Chinese reality show and modeling competition of the same name. Filming for season two took place in London. The show featured 14 new contestants in the final cast. Special appearances for the show included several high-profile guests, including Alexa Chung, David Gandy, Erin O'Connor with Giovanni Squatriti, J. Alexander, Lily Donaldson, Miranda Kerr and former British supermodel Twiggy. The show premiered on October 22, 2015.

Meng Wei is a former Chinese politician and environmentalist who served as president of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences from 2001 to 2016. As of November 2017 he was under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. He was an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He was a deputy to the 11th and 12th National People's Congress. He was the first notable figure implicated in corruption following the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party on October 24, 2017. He is the third academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering whose title has been revoked in the past two years, after Li Ning and Zhou Guotai. Meng Wei has been stripped of his post and party membership on April 4, 2018.
