Mera Kya Qasoor Tha is a Pakistani social drama series, produced by Taimur Usman Khawja and Raziuddin Ahmad. The drama airs twice weekly on Geo Entertainment every Saturday and Sunday. It stars Zahid Ahmed, Atiqa Odho and Sonia Mishal in lead roles. [1] The story of the serial tackles issue of child marriages. [2]
Atiqa Odho is a Pakistani television and film actress, television host, and the namesake of her own founded cosmetics brand Odho cosmetics. She debuted in Anwar Maqsood's TV series. She is famous for, Sitara aur Mehrunissa and then appeared in dramas like Dasht, Nijaat, Harjaee and most recently in Humsafar. She later starred in a string of films, including Jo Darr Gya Woh Marr Gya, Mummy and Mujhe Chand Chahiye.
Yumna Zaidi, is a Pakistani television actress. She has established her career as one of the leading television actress in Urdu-television industry and is known for portraying diverse characters in social to romantic dramas. Zaidi is the recipient of three Lux Style Awards.
Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat is a Pakistani drama serial and second installment of the Baraat Series, aired on Geo Entertainment in 2010. The series stars Bushra Ansari, Saba Hameed, Javed Sheikh, Samina Ahmed, Natasha Ali and Nabeel Butt, respired their roles from the previous season while Ali Safina and Ayesha Omer joined for this season. Directed by Nadeem Baig and Marina Khan, the script was co-written by Bushra Ansari and Vasay Chaudhry. The story revolves around the marriage and wedding plans of Azar's cousin Dolly and also focuses on the themes of cultural clash and our attitude towards the class system of society.
Zahid Iftikhar Ahmed is a Pakistani television actor and former RJ. Ahmed worked as a creative manager for PTV World, and later became an RJ. Besharam is a 2016 Pakistani drama serial that premiered on May 10, 2016 on ARY Digital. It is directed by Farooq Rind and written by Sarwat Nazir. It stars Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed, Atiqa Odho, Rehan Sheikh and Fia Khan in pivot roles. The serial is produced by Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Nasib under their production company Six Sigma Plus.
Aap ki Kaneez is a 2015 Pakistani drama serial that originally aired on Geo Entertainment from 15 September 2014 to 23 March 2015, for twenty six episodes. It was directed by Amir Yousaf, written by Faiza Iftikhar and stars Alyy Khan, Shamim Hilaly, Atiqa Odho and Yumna Zaidi in pivotal roles. Ishq Zahe Naseeb is a Pakistani mystery drama television series co-produced by Momina Duraid and Moomal Shunaid under MD Productions and Moomal Entertainment which started on Hum TV from 21 June 2019. The series focuses on dissociative identity disorder, portrayed by Zahid Ahmed along with Sonya Hussain and Sami Khan in lead role whereas Zarnish Khan and Jinaan Hussain in pivot roles. It also has Yumna Zaidi and Azekah Daniel in an extended cameo appearance. It was the fifth on-screen appearance of Zahid Ahmed and Yumna Zaidi after Jugnoo, Zara Yaad Kar, Pukaar and Choti Choti Batain. The series received critical praise, with Ahmed and Zaidi both noted for their performances, especially Ahmed's performance.
Mohabbat Na Kariyo earlier titled Makafaat is a 2019 Pakistani romantic drama television series produced by master mind productions. It features Hira Mani, Zarnish Khan and Junaid Khan in their second on-screen appearance together after Sun Yaara. It also has Atiqa Odho, Ali Ansari and Mariyam Nafees in supporting roles. It was first aired on 11 October 2019 on Geo Entertainment.
Pyar Ke Sadqay is a 2020 Pakistani drama television series premiered on 23 January 2020 on Hum TV. It is directed by Farooq Rind, written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and produced by Momina Duraid under MD Productions. It has Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas in leads while Yashma Gill, Omair Rana and Atiqa Odho in supporting roles. The series received critical acclaim due to Rind's direction and Zaidi's performance as Mahjabeen. Pyar Ke Sadqay won the most awards in Lux Style Awards 2021 including Best Actor Critics for Khan and Best Actress Critics and Best Actress Popular both for Zaidi.
