Merivale Mall is an indoor mall located at 1642 Merivale Road in the Nepean district of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The mall opened in 1976 and is bordered by Viewmount Drive to the south and Merivale Road to the east. It's an approximate 20-minute drive from Downtown Ottawa. Some of the shops and services currently located at the mall include Farm Boy, CIBC, Pizza Pizza, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sport Chek, and Planet Fitness. The mall is currently owned by First Capital Realty.
In February 2015, Merivale Mall announced that it would be undergoing a $10 million redevelopment. This redevelopment would include a new Marshalls location that would be 25,900 square feet. The redevelopment also included a relocated and redesigned Sport Chek. The projected was completed in Fall 2015. [1]
Sport Chek is currently the longest-serving tenant of the mall, which opened in 1995 to replace the Woolco department store that moved out of the mall. Previously, Rockwell's Restaurant was the longest-serving tenant, being open since 1986 and closing in late December 2015. Farm Boy has been an anchor and second-oldest tenant of the mall since 1996 when it replaced the Dominion store. The mall featured an A Buck or Two until it converted into "Merivale Mart" in 2002, went out of business in 2007.
Barrhaven is a rapidly growing suburban neighbourhood in the southwest of the urban area of the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, about 17 km (11 mi) southwest of downtown Ottawa. Prior to amalgamation with Ottawa in 2001, Barrhaven was part of the City of Nepean. Its population as of the Canada 2016 Census was 87,234.
Miracle Mart was a chain of discount department stores with locations in Ontario and Quebec, Canada based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. The chain was renamed to simply M in the mid-1980s.
Masonville Place is a two-story regional shopping mall located in London, Ontario, Canada, at the southeast corner of Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street. The mall contains over 130 stores, several restaurants, and a food court. Masonville Place is anchored by several large retailers including Hudson's Bay, Zara, H&M, Sport Chek/Atmosphere, and Shoppers Drug Mart. Cineplex Cinemas has two locations at the shopping mall, the SilverCity / IMAX theatres, and The Rec Room, an adult-centred entertainment facility featuring food, drink, arcade games and axe-throwing.
Merivale Road is an arterial road in the western part of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It starts at Island Park Drive just north of Highway 417 and continues south until it ends at Prince of Wales Drive in Rideau Glen. South of Clyde Avenue, Merivale is known as Ottawa Road #17, while north of Clyde it is Ottawa Road #63.
Londonderry Mall is a shopping centre located in north Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It contains over 150 stores and services with nine major tenants. The mall opened in 1972 and has been expanded and renovated since.
Kingsway Mall is a shopping centre located in central Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The mall, constructed in 1976, completed a $70-million redevelopment from 2007–2009. The "Revealing" held the weekend of 13 November 2009, saw the name change, introduced the public to the new mall, and opened the winter shopping season. Bordered by three major commuter roads, Kingsway Mall is situated near NAIT and the Royal Alexandra Hospital. On 14 March 2014, its Target location opened, but closed in 2015. Also in 2015, Forever 21 opened in the former Smitty's and Shefield Express. It also had the last Smart Set in Edmonton. Hot Topic opened in the mall Fall 2015 and it is the first in Edmonton. In 2017, they announced they would go under a renovation adding a new wing of the mall in the former Target. On July 8, 2021 Walmart announced that it would be exiting its current Westmount Centre Location and relocating to Kingsway Mall in the former Sears space in Fall 2022.
Erin Mills Town Centre is a shopping mall located in Erin Mills, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, at the corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue West. It is the second largest mall in Mississauga, after Square One. The mall can be accessed from the 401, 403, and 407 series highways. Erin Mills Town Centre Bus Terminal is located directly at the back of the mall.
Meadowlands Drive is a suburban road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It begins at Prince of Wales Drive as a continuation of Hog's Back Road in the neighborhood of Rideauview. There are two small shopping plazas and a Shell station at its corner with Prince of Wales. It then continues westward towards Fisher Avenue and consists of low-income housing projects, low-rise apartment buildings, townhouses and semi-detached homes. The speed limit here is 50 km/h (31 mph). most of Meadowlands is one lane, other than between Prince of Wales to Fisher, and from Chesterton to Merivale.
Conestoga Mall is a shopping mall located at 550 King Street North in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Located at King Street's interchange with the Conestoga Parkway, it is the largest shopping centre in Waterloo, and third-largest in Waterloo Region. The mall is owned and operated by the shopping centre development company Ivanhoé Cambridge, which is a principal real estate subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
The Centre is a major shopping mall located south-east of the junction of Circle Drive and 8th Street in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in the Wildwood neighbourhood. It is currently anchored by Sport Chek, Saskatoon Co-op, Rainbow Cinemas, the Centre Cinemas, Shoppers Drug Mart, Best Buy, Indigo Books and Music and Dollarama. Until 2002-2004, Canadian Tire and Walmart were also part of this mall. They both moved to the big box development of Preston Crossing; a Zellers department store that had operated in the west end of the mall since it was built in the 1960s subsequently relocated from its original location to occupy the vacated Walmart location at the east end. The Zellers has since closed and has been converted into Target, which also subsequently closed. The Centre boasts more than 90 shops and services, several art display spaces in Centre East, and a 2-level temperature controlled underground parkade.

Upper Canada Mall is a shopping mall in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the northwest corner of the Davis Drive West and Yonge Street intersection. The mall is owned and operated by Oxford Properties, one of the largest shopping centre development companies in Canada. It opened in 1974, at which time its layout was a north-south arrangement with two sunken sitting areas surrounded by brick planters on the lower level.

Borden Farm is a neighbourhood in Knoxdale-Merivale Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former city of Nepean, which was amalgamated into Ottawa in 2001. It was built on the site of the former Borden Dairy Farm. The land was bought by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) in 1959. The Borden farm community was built in 1967–1976 as a joint development of the CMHC and the Ontario Housing Corporation and features single-family homes with parks and bikeways placed behind the houses, instead of on the streets. There was more development in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Parkwood Hills is a neighbourhood in Knoxdale-Merivale Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Canada. Prior to amalgamation in 2001, it was located in the City of Nepean. It is notable for the thriller Parkwood Hills (2002) which was filmed on location in the area by Kolin Casagrande, and for being a typical and illustrative example of town planning and development by Minto in the context of its position as the property manager for the National Capital Commission.

It is bounded on the south by Meadowlands Drive of Parkwood Hills, on the west by Clyde Avenue and Merivale Road, on the north by Baseline Road and on the east by the neighbourhood of Fisher Heights.

Crestview is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was originally part of the City of Nepean before amalgamation with Ottawa in 2001. Together with the neighbouring community of Meadowlands, the area is served by the Crestview-Meadowlands Community Association. The community association's boundaries are Meadowlands Drive on the north, Merivale Road on the east, the CN Railtracks on the south and Woodroffe Avenue on the west.
