Santosh Subramaniam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram. Mann Vasanai is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Bharathiraja. The film stars Pandiyan and Revathi, with Vinu Chakravarthy, Gandhimathi, and Y. Vijaya in supporting roles. It was released on 16 September 1983 and ran for over 200 days in theatres, besides winning the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil. This is both Pandian and Revathi's debut in Tamil cinema. Ajith Kumar is an Indian actor who works mainly in Tamil cinema. Apart from a small role in the 1990 Tamil film En Veedu En Kanavar, his professional career began three years later with his debut as a lead actor in Tamil cinema with Amaravathi (1993). Despite being a moderate success, the film helped him obtain more modelling assignments. He followed it up the same year with Prema Pusthakam, his only Telugu film to date. After Amaravathi's release, Ajith opted against acting, and instead tried pursuing a career in auto racing. While training for an amateur race, he injured his back and underwent three major surgeries, leaving him bed-ridden for a year and a half. After recovering from the injury, he played supporting roles in Paasamalargal (1994) and Pavithra (1994). After this, he co-starred with Vijay in Rajavin Parvaiyile (1995). That same year, he had his breakthrough with the romantic thriller Aasai. His performance earned him critical acclaim and established him as an up-and-coming actor in Tamil cinema.
S. P. Muthuraman, also referred to as SPM, is an Indian film director who works in the Tamil film industry. He has directed 72 films in Tamil. He was one of the most successful commercial directors in Tamil cinema. Initially he worked mainly with R. Muthuraman, Jaishankar, Sivaji Ganesan and went on to direct successful films with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.

Vasantha Kumar Ravi, known professionally as Vasanth Ravi, is an Indian actor born in Chennai. He embarked on his artistic journey in the Indian film industry in 2017 with a debut in "Taramani." Vasanth Ravi boasts a diverse academic background, holding both MBBS and Healthcare Management (Masters) degrees. He is the son of Ravi Muthukrishnan, Chairman of the Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan chain of restaurants.
Pistha is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by M. Ramesh Baarathi and starring Metro Shirish and Mrudula Murali. It was released on 7 October 2022.
