Metropolis Academy (then "Metropolitan Academy") was founded to divide the metropolitan academy's students into metropolis academy. Due to high volume of students in two branches of metropolitan academy (Nasirabad Branch and Ancholi Branch), Metropolis was opened and only the male students from grade 6 to grade 10 from both branches were transferred into Metropolis Academy.
