The Intermunicipal League Doboj (Serbian : Међуопштинска лига Добој / Međuopštinska liga Doboj) is a sixth level league in the Bosnia and Herzegovina football league system and a fifth level league in the Republika Srpska.
Serbian is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. It is the official language of Serbia, co-official in the territory of Kosovo, and one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, it is a recognized minority language in Montenegro where it is spoken by the relative majority of the population, as well as in Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina football league system is a series of connected leagues for football clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The system is hierarchical, with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels. The top division is organized by Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the second and third levels by entity associations, and lower levels by cantonal or regional associations.
Republika Srpska is one of the two political entities that compose Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Situated in the northern and eastern parts of the country, it is defined by its rich natural heritage, encompassing dense forests, mountains, and rivers. Its largest city and de facto capital, on the river Vrbas, is Banja Luka.

Derventa is a city and municipality located in Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in the Posavina region, northwest of Doboj. As of 2013, the town has a population of 12,680 inhabitants, while the municipality has 27,404 inhabitants.

The First League of Yugoslavia's 1991/1992 season was the 64th edition of the Yugoslav First League, the premier football club competition of SFR Yugoslavia. It was the last edition in which professional football teams from SR Bosnia and Herzegovina and SR Macedonia participated, as well as the last of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in general as the First League of FR Yugoslavia was established the following season. At the season 2016/17, 23 teams participate in this league, divided in three regions. Top team from each region qualifies for the playoff from which top team qualify for the Second League of Montenegro.

In 1992 these republics declared their independence from Yugoslavia. The clubs from Croatia and Slovenia were already playing their first seasons as separate nations.
The 2012–13 Serbian SuperLiga was the seventh season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The season began on 26 August 2012 and ended on 25 May 2013.
