Mhow Indore Passenger was a passenger train of Indian Railways, which ran between Indore Junction railway station (MG) to Mhow railway station in the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. [1] [2] In 2015, the train was cancelled due to closure of Indore - Mhow line for Gauge Conversion.

Arrival and departure

Train no. 52962 departed from Mhow, daily at 03:50 hrs., reaching Indore the same day at 04:40 hrs. Train no. 52979 departed from Indore daily at 22:05 hrs reaching Mhow the same day at 23:00 hrs. The train covered the 21-kilometer journey in 50 minutes with an average speed of 25 km/h.

Sanawad railway station is a small railway station in Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh. Its code is SWD. It serves Sanawad town. The station consists of two platforms, neither well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. The station is situated on the 1,000 mmmetre gauge Akola–Ratlam line, which is under gauge conversion. Gauge conversion between Choral to Mhow is not possible due to tricky ghat section of Vindhyachal ranges.

Dr. Ambedkar Nagar - Omkareshwar Road Passenger was a metre-gauge passenger train of the Indian Railways, which was running between Dr. Ambedkar Nagar in Madhya Pradesh and Omkareshwar Road in Madhya Pradesh. It has been closed down since 30 January 2023 as the track between the two stations is being converted to Broad Gauge.
