Mia Emperatriz Montoya Horna, also known as Mia Mont (born November 3, 1989, in Lima, Peru) is a singer and songwriter who is of Peruvian origin. [1] Mia is popular for singing the Spanish version of 'Dhoom Machale' song in Dhoom 3 . [2] [3] [4] [5]

Career

Mont worked on her first album of hand with Ed Montoya, composing the first songs of their debut album Antifantasía with a team formed by music producer Ed Montoya. Percy Céspedez (Adammo, Gian Marco, TK) was the director of her first video , "For Him", and later her second single "Looking". In 2010 "For Him" reached the top spot on various music channels like MTV Latin American and Latino Ritmonson.

On December 31, 2010, Mont was chosen by Radio Studio 92 as "Artist female revelation" and their debut song "For him," was awarded Best Made Song in Peru in 2010.[ citation needed ] In early 2011, the theme was included in the telenovela Lalola, Channel Frequency America. Mont performed at the Billboard Latin Music Conference on April 26, 2011 [6]

Talento de Barrio is the soundtrack album to the film of the same name and the fifth studio album starring Puerto Rican reggaeton singer-songwriter Daddy Yankee, who also performs the songs on the album. It was released on August 12, 2008, by Machete Music and El Cartel Records, to accompany the motion picture Talento de Barrio. The album was mainly produced by reggaeton producers Eli El Musicólogo and Menes. The album production explores reggaeton with elements of tropical music such as merengue and dancehall along with EDM and electropop sounds. It receive positive reviews and was nominated for Best Urban Album at the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The album was supported by four official singles: "Somos de Calle", "Pose", "Llamado de Emergencia", and "Que Tengo Que Hacer?".

"Somos de Calle" is a promo single by Puerto Rican reggaeton performer Daddy Yankee, released for promotion of the 2008 film Talento de Barrio. It was released on July 29, 2008 by El Cartel Records.

Dhoom 3 is the soundtrack album for 2013 action thriller film of the same name which was written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra, who also co-wrote the story and also serves as the third instalment of the Dhoom franchise and a sequel to Dhoom and Dhoom 2. The film cinematography was handled by Sudeep Chatterjee while editing was done by Ritesh Soni and starred Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The film's soundtrack was composed by Pritam while the film's score was composed by Julius Packiam.
