Michael John "Mick" Bennett (born 8 June 1949, Birmingham) is a British former cyclist and cycle race promoter.
He won the bronze medal in Team Pursuit in the 1972 Munich and 1976 Montreal Games. [1] [2]
He represented England in the 1 km time trial, at the 1970 British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. [3] [4] Four years later he competed in the scratch and pursuit disciplines and won a gold medal in the 4,000 metres team pursuit at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand. [5] [6] [7]
He was five times a British champion winning the British National Sprint in 1977, [8] two British National Madison Championships (1973 & 1975) and two British National Individual Time Trial Championships (1971 & 1972). [9]
Bennett originally took up cycling as part of a programme of rehabilitation after developing Osgood–Schlatter disease. [10] In 2004, Bennett formed Sweetspot Management, which organises the Tour of Britain, the Tour Series, [11] The Women's Tour [12] and (in collaboration with the London Marathon) RideLondon. [13]
Sir Bradley Marc Wiggins, CBE is a British former professional road and track racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2001 and 2016. He began his cycling career on the track, but later made the transition to road cycling. He won world titles in four disciplines, and Olympic gold in three. He is the only rider to have won both World and Olympic championships on both the track and the road as well as winning the Tour de France. He has worn the leader's jersey in each of the three Grand Tours of cycling and held the world record in team pursuit on multiple occasions. He won a gold medal at four successive Olympic Games from 2004 to 2016, and held the record as Great Britain's most decorated Olympian with 8 medals until Jason Kenny won his 9th in 2021. He is the only rider to win both the Tour de France and Olympic Gold in the same year, winning them a week apart in 2012.
Edward Franklin Clancy is a British former professional track and road bicycle racer, who competed between 2004 and 2021.

Dame Sarah Joanne Storey, is a British Paralympic athlete in cycling and swimming, and a multiple gold medalist in the Paralympic Games, and six times British (able-bodied) national track champion. Her total of 28 Paralympic medals including 17 gold medals makes her the most successful and most decorated British Paralympian of all time as well as one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes of all time. She has the unique distinction of winning five gold medals in Paralympics before turning 19.
Andrew David Tennant is an English former professional track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2021 for six different teams. During his career, Tennant won seven medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, six gold medals at the UEC European Track Championships and a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Michael Hepburn is an Australian track and road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jayco–AlUla. He is a two-time Olympics silver medalist.
Annette Edmondson is an Australian former cyclist who competed on the track with Cycling Australia's High Performance Unit (HPU). She also competed on the road for the Wiggle High5 team between 2015 and 2018.
Aaron Gate is a New Zealand road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Burgos BH. He represented his country in track cycling at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Gate is the first New Zealand athlete to win four gold medals at a single Commonwealth Games.

Alexander Edmondson is an Australian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team dsm–firmenich PostNL. Edmondson was a member of the Australian Olympic Track Cycling team at the 2012 London Olympics, alongside his sister, Annette Edmondson. In 2014 he was world champion in the individual pursuit. He won the silver medal in the team pursuit at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Ciara Maurizia Horne is a British racing cyclist. Having formerly represented Ireland at an international level, Horne has switched nationality and currently rides on the track for the Welsh Cycling backed Team USN, and also races on the road for the Breast Cancer Care racing team. Horne formed part of the Great Britain team who became 2014 European champions in the team pursuit.

Hannah Mary Barnes is a British racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Uno-X Mobility. She is the sister of fellow racing cyclist Alice Barnes, who rides for Canyon–SRAM.
Owain Daniel Doull is a Welsh road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam EF Education–EasyPost. Doull specialises in the team pursuit on the track, and won a gold medal in the discipline at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro; as a result, he became the first Welsh-speaking athlete to win Olympic gold.
Charles Tanfield is a British racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Continental team Saint Piran and the Great Britain national track cycling team. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the team pursuit. Tanfield was the 2018 Commonwealth Games individual pursuit champion, the 2018 World Championships team pursuit world champion and 2024 UEC European Track Championships team pursuit European champion.
Harry Tanfield is a British cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Saint Piran.
