Michael W. Hawkins is the current Bishop of Saskatchewan. [1] He was previously, from 2001 to 2009, the Dean of Saskatchewan and Rector of St Alban's Cathedral.
Hawkins studied at Dalhousie University and the University of King's College in Halifax before becoming a Master of Divinity at Trinity College, Toronto. He was ordained as a deacon in 1988 and a priest in June 1989. He then served as rector of Pugwash and River John from 1988 to 1993 and Petite Rivière and New Dublin from 1993 to 2001 in the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. In 2001 he was appointed rector of St. Alban's Cathedral, Prince Albert and Dean of Saskatchewan. He was consecrated Bishop of Saskatchewan on 6 March 2009. [2]
In 2009, Hawkins received an honorary doctorate from the University of King's College. [3] [4]
Hawkins is a trustee of the Elliott House of Studies.
Richard John Carew Chartres, Baron Chartres,, FBS is a retired bishop of the Church of England. He was area Bishop of Stepney from 1992 to 1995 and Bishop of London from 1995 to 2017. Michael Charles Scott-Joynt was an English bishop and a Prelate of the Order of the Garter. He was appointed Bishop of Winchester, one of the five senior bishoprics in the Church of England, in 1995. He had previously served as Bishop of Stafford in the Diocese of Lichfield from 1987 and before that as a canon residentiary at St Albans Cathedral. On 10 October 2010, it was announced that Scott-Joynt intended to retire, which he did in May 2011. He did this in association with Great Scott productions.

Hedley Vicars Roycraft Short was an Anglican bishop in the last third of the 20th century. He was educated at the University of Toronto and ordained in 1944. He held curacies at St Michael's Toronto and then Coventry Cathedral. Returning to Canada he was a lecturer at Trinity College, Toronto, and for a while its Acting Dean. After incumbencies at Cochrane and St. Catharines he became Rector of Prince Albert and Dean of Saskatchewan in 1963. From 1966 he was also Archdeacon of the area. In 1970 he became Bishop of Saskatchewan, serving for 11 years.
