Michael Jacobs is a pro-Israel activist living in the Netherlands. He gained attention in the Dutch Jewish community for demonstrating against anti-Israel movements. [1] [2]

In September 2016, he was controversially arrested for disturbing public order, after which he spent six days in jail after refusing to stop picketing in Dam Square in Amsterdam. [1] Prosecutors later dropped charges against him after complaints from Amsterdam's Jewish community. [3]

According to the Jewish Daily Forward , he has been responsible for “ending [the] monopoly” enjoyed by anti-Israel activists on the "street-level Israel debate”. [4]

Harry van Bommel Dutch politician

Henricus (Harry) van Bommel is a Dutch politician, anti-globalisation activist, and former educator. As a member of the Socialist Party, he was an MP from 19 May 1998 to 23 March 2017. He focused on matters of foreign policy and the European Union.

Antisemitic incidents escalated worldwide in frequency and intensity during the Gaza War, and were widely considered to be a wave of reprisal attacks in response to the conflict.

Lehava

Lehava is a Jewish far-right organization based in Israel that strictly opposes Jewish assimilation, objecting to most personal relationships between Jews and non-Jews. It has been called "alt-right". It is opposed to the Christian presence in Israel. It has an anti-miscegenation focus, denouncing marriages between Jews and non-Jews forbidden by Orthodox Jewish law. Its actions have been denounced by President of Israel Reuven Rivlin as being like "rodents gnawing under the shared democratic and Jewish foundation of Israel".

Otzma Yehudit

Otzma Yehudit is a far-right political party in Israel, which has been referred to as Kahanist and anti-Arab. It was originally formed as Otzma LeYisrael, and was established on 13 November 2012 by MKs Aryeh Eldad and Michael Ben-Ari, who split from the National Union to form a new party ahead of the 2013 elections. Despite coming to an agreement with the Jewish Home to contest the 2020 Israeli legislative election as the United Jewish Home, Otzma was left to run independently when the Jewish Home, the New Right, and Tkuma re-formed Yamina.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement promoting boycotts, divestments and sanctions against Israel. Its objective is to pressure Israel to meet what it describes as Israel's obligations under international law, defined as withdrawal from the occupied territories, removal of the separation barrier in the West Bank, full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and "respecting, protecting, and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties". The movement is organized and coordinated by the Palestinian BDS National Committee.

Linda Sarsour Muslim feminist activist

Linda Sarsour is an American political activist. She was co-chair of the 2017 Women's March, the 2017 Day Without a Woman, and the 2019 Women's March. She is also a former executive director of the Arab American Association of New York. She and her Women's March co-chairs were profiled in Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People" in 2017. Sarsour is a Muslim of Palestinian descent.

Tamika Mallory

Tamika Danielle Mallory is an American activist. She was one of the leading organizers of the 2017 Women's March, for which she and her three other co-chairs were recognized in the Time 100 that year. Mallory is a proponent of gun control, feminism, and the Black Lives Matter movement. She was formerly one of the chairs of the Women's March but was later replaced, along with fellow co-chairs Linda Sarsour and Bob Bland, amid allegations of anti-Semitism.

Mike Enoch American white supremacist blogger and podcast host

Michael Isaac Peinovich, commonly known by his pseudonym Mike Enoch, is an American neo-Nazi, anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, blogger and podcast host. He founded the alt-right media network The Right Stuff and podcast The Daily Shoah. Through his work, Peinovich ridicules African Americans, Jews, and other minorities, advocates racial discrimination, and promotes conspiracy theories such as Holocaust denial and white genocide.

Laura Loomer American far-right activist

Laura Elizabeth Loomer is an American far-right and anti-Muslim political activist, conspiracy theorist, and internet personality. She was the Republican nominee to represent Florida's 21st congressional district in the 2020 United States House of Representatives elections, losing to Democrat Lois Frankel. Loomer's candidacy was considered a long shot.

Allegations of antisemitism in the Labour Party of the United Kingdom (UK) have been made since Jeremy Corbyn was elected as leader of the party in September 2015. After comments by Naz Shah in 2014 and Ken Livingstone in 2016 resulted in their suspension from membership pending investigation, Corbyn established the Chakrabarti Inquiry, which concluded that the party was not "overrun by anti-Semitism or other forms of racism", although there was an "occasionally toxic atmosphere" and "clear evidence of ignorant attitudes". The Home Affairs Select Committee of Parliament held an inquiry into antisemitism in the UK in the same year and found "no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party", though the leadership's lack of action "risks lending force to allegations that elements of the Labour movement are institutionally antisemitic".

Jewish Voice for Labour (JVL) is an organisation formed in 2017 for Jewish members of the UK Labour Party. Its aims include a commitment "to strengthen the party in its opposition to all forms of racism, including anti-Semitism... to uphold the right of supporters of justice for Palestinians to engage in solidarity activities" and "to oppose attempts to widen the definition of antisemitism beyond its meaning of hostility towards, or discrimination against, Jews as Jews".

Binyomin Jacobs

Binyomin Jacobs is a dutch rabbi who lives in Amersfoort, in the Netherlands. At the end of 2008 he was appointed Chief Rabbi of the Netherlands, this appointment includes all the municipalities of the Netherlands, except the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague.
