Musical career

Paget stated that the first guitar riff he learned to play was "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, and the first full song he learned to play was "Polly" by Nirvana. He said: "I was just playing riffs for a long, long time. As you progress, you start learning more techniques and looking into scale patterns and modes and stuff like that." [4]

Paget stated that it hurt his feelings when bandmate Matt Tuck left for Thailand to create Bullet for My Valentine's fourth studio album Temper Temper without him. He recounted in 2015: "It really pissed me off, to be honest. Being told over email that you’re not going to record an album with your band. I’m sure it would piss anyone off. I was fucking confused, hurt – and I just didn’t understand it. Do I think it was for the best in the long run? No, I don’t, because our momentum kind of levelled off. I don’t want to dwell on the bad times because it’s all so good now." [5]

Personal life

Paget had back surgery in 2012. It was not immediately known what ailment he was suffering from. The band posted a picture with a caption that said that he was "doing great." [6]

His net worth is said to be five million dollars.[ citation needed ]
